Thank so much! I just purchased a Himiway Zebra and heard the metalic noise when accelerating while sitting on the bike. But when I lifted the wheel off the ground there was no noise. I adjusted the brake as you suggested and the sound went away!
The video says to see a more detailed video about brakes but it does not appear you have any such video. Can you please reply with a link? I have a brand new Rift making a terrible clicking sound within the first few miles. Thank you.
when I accelerate my ebike or motor make a vibration noise. It wasn't that bad in the beginning but now it is. what is your opinion. Thanks in advance.
Hello my bike is making a horrible deep humming sound when I first take off, and sometimes when I throttle it when Im already moving. It don't do it as bad if I ease on the throttle, but I have to go really slow. Any ideas? It's a new motor.
Mine is when I first engaged the motor it rattles and vibrates just for like two maybe three seconds regardless of the speed and regardless of pedal or throttle. Also if I let off and re-engage it does the same. Is that normal? I've never seen that in any other videos
My e bike motor only makes noise but it seems almost like it’s vibrations from the spokes or the rear axle area. Everything is super tight. No visible power issues or noises I heard online
I have this vibration/squeak coming from my front hub motor. I think it's a needle bearing, because it only happens with weight on the bike and gets worse with use.
What about e-bike that's making like a knocking noise that sounds like it's coming out of then th e rear hub when I engage the throttle could it be a bearing went bad I put about 1600 Mi on it since November
@@mungoprus-shearer1624 Yes I does sometimes feel like that. I’m convinced it’s nothing to do with the motor, but maybe a speed controller setting, or maybe the motor wiring is intermittent.
I'm actually having some kind of noise from my ebike and I think it's the motor but I'm not sure. I have a Short on my channel if anyone wants to look at it and let me know what you think... I really don't want to take apart my bike if I don't have to

Many noises can also come from bottom bracket area. Lack of grease and loose bolts can cause noise when pedaling. Check cranks and pedals.
your videos of assistance are so much better and more informative than Lectric company.
That’s great I was going pop it open so time consuming and I had every thing in place good advice .

Now I finally know what that annoying metal grinding noise is that I keep on hearing
That's not good! Definitely get that fixed! >_
Thanks so much. I finally know that I need to tighten the spokes.

I’m trying to figure out the same problem. It vibrates really bad as I accelerate then goes away. It’s only at the start of the acceleration.
That's what mine is doing also

Does it cut out or skip?
I hear a loose rattling sound inside the motor when I accelerate, but it stops once speed is reached.

Thank you. I think it's my brakes or spokes. The noise only happens above 14 mph.
So, not a video about motor sounds then. Two normal sounds and a bunch of "It's your brakes bro".
Found it quite common, none of them address motor noises /malfunctions or fixes.. Quite a con really... The money must be in the mystery
Is there anyway I can send you a video of my hub motors noise?

high pitched sound like a v tiny bell. Tinny. At high frequencies / speed and off load? Can't seem to place it
Great video thanks
What could cause a sort of rattling noise coming from the speed controller during load? Mine just started doing this and was always silent before!
i think i have the same thing, do you feel weird vibrations through the seat as well?

Mine brake one of them doesn't work and mine keeps making motor like sound
thx it help :D
Glad it helped!

My bike arrived broken battery and problem in rear wheel
Damn Mann that sucks😔
Heres normal motor noises. and here are other noises that have absolutely nothing to do with the motor..
Thank you i thought mine was broken or something
