      There is a list of tutorials on how to use PT in PT SW. The tutorials goes much more in detail on PT than dan does.

    This was very helpful, thank you. Why do the 2 pcs need IP addresses if they are communicating through a switch (and thus presumably using mac addresses instead of IP addresses) ? Would they still need IP addresses if you used a hub?

    hi Dan. I am following you and your wonderful explanations about networking. Thank you. I am using PT 7.2.1.0218 but I am not be able to get the list where I can choose the port where I want to connect the device as I did it in previous version. I was looking in the preferences I cannot see where is my mistake is. Thanks for your videos and your help.

      Review your content, whatever it is. CBT Nuggets is great for videos! Get a book too. If you don't have a book then use websites to review. Do you have access to practice exams? A practice exam will let you know which topics your weak on and need to review. How about a CCNA command guide? Get your CCENT and your CCNA before February.
