that's because of english medium education slavery and imposition. and it is not only limited to Hindi. this is happening with all Indian Bhashas. today's generation living in urban areas can't speak single sentence in their mother tongue without using english words.
they speak pure English because they learned it in university.... spoken language and written language are different...I live near hindi international University in Maharashtra and here lot of people speak pure hindi but it's hard to understand bec it's different from spoken Hindi ( which has many Urdu words).... it's normal in such a diverse country!
