Just posting this since it might be my favorite game of the summer. PLEASE let me know if you want to see a full run on harder difficulty - the more comments this gets, the more likely TH-cam is to push it to more people, and I still think this game is criminally underrated.
Placing walls with actual bricklaying techniques improves durability. If you look at when your archers get eaten after the wall breaks, you can see the entire pillar go down. If you layer and interlace your walls, the bricks will support each other and not feed each segment's archers to the horde below. I think the pillars are for funneling or archway support mainly, not actual defense.
AA, I got through the campaign and if I could add any advice it would be that high walls make safe walls…to only use stone for walls…you need AOE damage so get the bombers early…you can stack an oxygen on top of 4 houses…use the buildings natural platforms to create space for building oxygen things…Merlons are huge to increasing wall health without going extremely high…high walls are safe walls
PLEASE BUY THE STONE PACK 1 AND WOOD PACK 1 AAAAAAAAH. Man plays a defensive castle building game, treats it like starcraft 2 as zerg. Wonders why his walls are breaking so fast while not buying any new pieces at all, or building real walls. Not done the video yet, but as infuriating as your playstyle is, I'm loving the video XD
Honestly my general rule is that i prefer content creators make content on things that they enjoy rather than on things that are expected of them. When you enjoy a game, it is reflected in the quality of content that you create using that game, so absolutely you should keep this going ❤
Wow! I've seen a couple other videos on this game recommended, but this is the first I've actually watched. I think a full run would be awesome to see! Please do more!
Love the graphic style and how much freedom you have with building, with enough experience and messing around you could build some amazing builds especially if you are the type who experiments and pushes boundaries, i'd happily watch you give it another go AA
saw this while scrolling steam but didn't end up getting it, then i see you've made a video on it. i've now changed my mind i think laying your stone differently will actually make it sturdier, if you laid it like proper bricks, then when they break one, it shouldn't immediately crumble
Got this game recently and love it. I highly recommend playing through the story even if it’s not finished yet. What’s there is a very interesting world
I always find your videos so relaxing, and this game seems real nice!! I’d personally like to see more of you playing it (even though I fall asleep often)
There is something about the aesthetic of this game that hits me. It's not particularly beautiful or what I'm usually into, but the models look a lot like old castle toys I used to play with as a kid. That unlocked some memories and a way to appreciate what a game looks like that I was not aware of.
I was interested in this game. But seeing how the enemies just touch the walls and it gets deleted I am less interested. The draw for me was building massive forts and staving off attack expecting at least a moderate durability of the walls. This seems way more about managing troops and deployment to prevent the enemy from even touching the walls.
@@NoPantsBaby the difference is if one block gets destroyed. The other blocks on top of it wont fall down. Its not 3 hitboxes vs 1 hitbox. So if I put two 2x1s on the floor making it a square then put two more 2x1s on top of it but make it so the two blocks on top are the opposite direction than the ones on the bottom to interlock them. Now the enemies need to take down two of the bottom blocks to topple the top floor. If I made em all just stack without interlocking. It only takes 1 block to topple the top floor. Thus making the wall have more effective HP.
TH-cam you must push thee video for I thee wants thee part2 of thee cataclisemo thee will not be pleased if thee does not get thee part 2 video by thee 1 and only AA. Thee End

Already have it in my cart!
Sure, I'll watch. I don't like the game, but I do like your vids.
Show us your amphibian
Yes!
Please do, hell go through the game I'll stop by
I knew I was gonna get this game before even watching all of the video. Almost every game you play I’m like I need to play that😂
That means a lot - thank you. Glad it's helped you find more stuff you like...
Sorry for your wallet...

They are good if you can interlock bricks on top of them, especially on high walls.
The pillars have the highest hp to surface area. So starting any wall with a pillar will make it the most solid bottom piece

Absolutely love to see a full run of this!
This is the first time i have seen someone build only low HP walls, you can see how needed even the first color change is in walls.
Love this game. The higher your walls get they go up in durability levels. Gonna need that on hard.
I'd like to see more of this game, so a full run would be great!

I could definitely watch more of this
So a "Age of Darkness" look alike, pretty neat
Is this going to be an ignore everything but industry until 3 seconds before assorted big wave attacks marathon? 😂

Dude play more, so entertaining to watch. Thank you!
anything by the Moonlighter crew is worth
Looks like this’ll tickle my base builder brain. I have to check it out!
A type of game I didn't know I needed! Play some more!
Интересная игра. ❤ Надеюсь успешно выйдет из раннего доступа.
I'd love to see more of this game!
Cool! This reminds me of the old tower defense mods in Frozen Throne, but also feels strangely like Age of Empires too.
100% play more of this, I love it ❤
AA please for the love of all that is holy we have to see more of this game
I would love to see more of this
Let's go, this looks amazing. Nicely done AA

This looks like a Going Medieval mod.

I want to say I love you and your voice
😂 wait has he never beard the word "mountainous" before?? Lol
So its a They are Billions clone? Sweet. Only 2 minutes in at the time of posting.
You should definitely do another video
wololo, wololo nice
My current problem with endless is that the terrain isnt that interesting. They need sliders for terrain modification.
aw man it's TAB-like and not TABS-like
Good game
How many genres of game can we describe this one in?😅
I tried the demo of this, but honestly the micro really didn't do it for me.
Play a harder run pls! Game is really good
Thank you for doing endless and not campaign
What's the difficulty of this run?

Its because he didnt built em with proper interconnecting bricks. He used 3 tall pillars of course those would poof the moment enemies touch them.
It's really fun game he didn't do the wall building justice.
@@nekotorin So what is the difference? Interlocking them seems like a worse idea.
3 hitboxes vs 1 hitbox.

Wave survival with Totally Accurate Battle Simulator combat? Woah!
Oh, it's TAB, not TABS. 😅

Looks like they are billions at first glance. If you havent tried that one you should.
Onslaught of whor(d)es🗿
This artstyle is soooo weird. All the portrait look strange, they don't "pop" like UI should.
First?
