Joseph McDade I'm running TKC80 front and Kenda big block rear in this video. The TKC80 is the only semi-aggressive tubeless 17" available in the correct size. There are a lot more choices for the rear. The large block tires are good on the road and good off-road as long as it is dry. They slide around a lot in mud.
+TR5T The mighty DR is a great bike. I've had several DR riders sit on the NC and said it felt about the same weight even though the NC is heavier. The DR of course is way better off-road and the NC is way better on-road. Another option you should look at is the CB500 with the Rally Raid level 3 adventure package.
Are you kidding me? I have a V-Strom 650 which is a little more suitable for that type of riding and it would have wore me out. You handled it like a champ. I It looked like you were the only adventure bike in the group? For the past few months I have been thinking about trading my Strom for a nc700 because it is lighter and a low center of gravity.
The low center of gravity and the instant torque of the engine really help off road. Make sure to ride an NC first. You may not like the engine. There was a guy on a F800GS but he rides it like a 250 so you have to look close to realize it is a big bike.
Great video! thanks a lot. This is what I needed to see. Real off roading with an NC
Great Vid! Exactly the level of adventure I was lookin for. As a fellow NC rider I felt that whole jarring ride even the slip;D
Great video, those mirrors look like a great idea.
I bet that low speed torque helped a lot. Thanks for the video!
What tires were you using for this? I'm looking to buy a bike in this category and enjoyed watching a video of some off road.

how steep of an incline were you riding on?
nuts on that bike well done
Wow that was great rideing when you went down 2 seconds before i was thinking he hasn't gone down and then it happens. So its my fault 😆😆
During bike week I saw an NC with a big block rear tyre. I seriously looking at one of these or a DR 650.

Great vid! :)
Damn I had no idea a NC700 could do that!
