How cool to see this video - did the same route in 2024 on underbones and it was about the same condition. Thankfully no rain so we managed to get all the way through.
Thank you for your comments that was definitely a special day and it's even better when you ride with someone who's even more capable, thanks for watching
Thank you, in Thailand on some remote areas you have to watch out for the elephant poop which is quite large and could definitely cause a little drama!!!
@@jimoliver4226 my buddy is a BMW shop in Bangkok and he told me what the miles I have I could not afford a BMW what's the cost of the service is much more!!! There's no doubt BMW is a great bike, but in my opinion so is the NC!!! Enjoy whatever you ride and ride safe
@@mikefreeriderAsia thanks, doing research and really leaning to NC, maybe see you on the road someday (btw, not a huge guy and Mrs is 45 kg, NC good for touring 2 up?
@@jimoliver4226 again this is my opinion but for two lighter people like you described should be no issue. My 500x struggled a bit in the mountains two up, but my NC had no issues.
Hello there Mike! In one of your videos you presented your plug-in side pannier. As I keep enjoying the easiness of my NC750dct, don´t wish to mount topbox, only single sidepannier. Your choice seemed easy to take out and carry. Would you care to tell again that model or put a link to that video? Thanks and greetings from Finland
8.9238487, 99.6487246 Road 4088 , if you go to satellite view you can actually see the bridge that got knocked out must have been some amazing amount of water that came down there to knock down that big bridge
Hi, Mike! Awsome road. You inspired me to start doing some adventure trips with my NC750X, my favourite bike which until now only saw tarmac for the past 20k km. One funny fact about the brands you use is that i use the same: those shad side cases, Forma boots and HJC helmet, not exactly tge same models, but anyway. I was courious about the clothing, mine are from HELD, what about yours? Greetings from Switzerland! :)
Awesome! Did you consider the CB500X when you bought the NC ? What do you think of it. I’m waiting on delivery of the 2022 500x but have been on the fence between that and the NC. I’m the same height as you. Love the DCT
I had a cb500x before I got my NC and yes great bike but the NC has much lower center of gravity and I love the DCT. I kept my CB for a few years because I did like it but eventually I just had too many motorcycles and my favorite was the NC.Ride Safe
Hey Mike, thanks for nice video. What was you ropute past 4088? Did you ride it W-E and finished near the coast? Or vice versa, E-W? In this case what waas your next road? 4095 south?
Great ride! Last green mossy water wash off I crossed (flat section of 3199 after the Twisties) I went down instantly! Road tires didn't help 😥. Watching this I was cringing at every crossing.🤣 What tire you running now? 👍👍

Sweet ride. Looks a little warmer there than my ride on Vancouver Island today :)
I'm sure it's still better weather than living in Quebec!!! Ha ha ha 🤠
Nicely Filmed Mike.....👍😊

Just check out shad sh36. Very easy on and off and pretty rugged. If you need more information just let me know
Hey Mike, could you send some coordinates or info about this road. I’ll go the south probably in May and this looks like a ‘must do’ road.
Thanks

Sounds awesome, my clothing is mostly Klim , and I have other jackets as well and some alpinestar. You never have enough clothing.!!!!

Superb fun😁
Nice slimy underwater causeways. You never know how slick they actually could be until you traverse them. Did you keep your feet dry Mike? 👍😉
Yes my Forma boots have kept my feet nice and dry all of this trip with lots of rain

Reviewing your rides for possible ops.
I would say that Thailand has endless opportunities for riding , it's really a great place to discover on two wheels. Ride safe

Very nice video
Much to short.
Yes I have lots of footage but I need to find a good editor because I prefer riding to editing!!!!
