This video was very helpful. I installed these today in the 2” drop. This is night and day. At 6’4”, I can finally see stop lights, see the top of the gauge cluster and most importantly my knee doesn’t rest against the side of the dash. My Jeep went from being uncomfortable but fun, to incredibly comfortable.
Great job on the video. I didn't fully understand the need for the seat jacker to make it the full 2" until i saw this video. I didn't realize it's to clear in the middle of the seat frame. Ti fully remove the rear spacer. Anyhow i watched it before install today (which took about 2 hrs after work taking my time). The newer versions have a few extra parts and the template doubles as a bottle opener too. Lol
I appreciate you making this video. You did a great job of explaining this mod. I am 6’5” and will be installing the 2” drop for my gladiator this weekend.
Thank you soooooo much for the video. My brain goes into drool mode when reading directions. Being able to visually watch every step is fantastic. I'll be doing this on Tuesday and also adding the Misch 4x4 BigBoy Seat Brackets. I can't wait to not feel like a "Big man in a little Jeep"
@@paulwright1006 amazing. Love this mod. For me the comfort between not having it and now is 100% better. Long drives and short drives are much better on my legs.
Just ordered their seat jackers. Really hope it helps the numbing sensation we all seem to get from the stock jl seat setup. I'm not crazy tall so the drop brackets may be a bit much for me. However once they are in full production, and depending on how much I like the jackers, I may go with the dropped rear brackets. Great video!
in regards to safety, is the consensus basically do at your own risk? Or is there information that confirms that safety is maintained with this alteration?
My wife just got a used '18 Unlimited Sport JL 4 Door - im 6'6 and have to slouch, I think these might get me the extra head room I need. but concerned it might be too much for her depending on how high the seat still comes up. she's about 5'4. also can you install them in the passenger seat?

How did it go for you? I am thinking on doing the same to my Mojave. I am 6'3"
Some advice that I’ve learned is to take the doors off when doing stuff like this. Makes like so much easier.

Glad I could help! 🙌
How did this work out ?

I use to hate to drive the Jeep until I installed this, it is game change
Definitely feel the difference!
Thank you for taking the time to do and document this.

Thought the dude with the hottie was Layne Staley !
Can you install the seat slammer with the big boy extender?
Yes, you got to source the 1 bolt in front right-hand corner. They said you need a 2in bolt for it .
Seems like the front right seat mount doesn’t sit solid. Does it bend the front steel?
Gotta improvise it
@@fourwheeldemons would love to know your definition of improvise :) we talking heating it up and using a mallet?
@@cs_collectibles_1392 just the mallet will work.
What does this do to the rake of the seat? Asking because of lowering the back, and raising the front.
it makes it much more comfortable for taller people
does it work with rav4 gen 5 passenger seat?
Does it give more leg room for the back seat passenger or less?
Less
I’m a big guy is there a way to get the seat to move back 2 more inches?
Big boy seat brackets for the jl. But it raises the seat up.
How much do you charge to install these?
It's about 2 hours per seat. We charge 100 per hr.
wtf is a "seat slammer" for anyways????
You know. For that thing that does the stuff.
