There are actually some big updates for the 2023 model year. For example, the 2023 Toyota Corolla LE comes standard with a 2 liter high compression dual injected engine borrowed from the Lexus UX200. This engine has 169 HP and 0 to 60 in 7.8 seconds. 2023 Corolla LE also has a special Lexus CVT with a physical first gear that gives it great off the line acceleration. As you mentioned, 2023 Corolla LE gets the latest Toyota touchscreen plus the latest Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 plus over the air updates plus wireless apple carplay/android auto plus two rear USB-C ports standard.

You are correct! We overlooked the updated engine for the 2023 model and will update the video. Thank you for pointing it out to us 👍

@@long_fellow I disagree. Big difference from 0-60 in 10 seconds and 0-60 in 7.8 seconds.

Great reveiw. But you missed a few options. My LE came thee emergency button up top for a year. Which if im in trouble i push it twice and the paremedics know exactly were i am, i hit it once and get directions. It also has a transmission hold button. If your in a drive through or any line, you hit the button and it allows you to let off the brake and while in drive, the car will not creep forward, saves you from haveing to stand on the brake pedal. Also has a hill gear, it slows the motor in down grades and gives you a little different gearing going up hills, very nice option here in tennessee . It has thee one push up or down windows, one hard push and thee windows roll all the way up or down. And also has automatic bright headlights that will dim when a car is comming and back on when passed. I get 36 miles a gallon and with only a 16.5 gallon tank its awsome. I get back n fourth to work all week "342miles" with a quarter tank left for the weekend for 50 bucks. If your not worried about street racing , this car is awsome. It still gets up n goes for a 4 banger. Mine has 345k on it now and you still cant hear or feel if the car is running or not. The Japanese take very much pride in theyre work ive heard, and it shows. You just cant get this quality combined with gas mileage anywhere for the price. I tinted the windows, slapped some nicer rims on it and it looks amazing. People cant get over what i paid for it brand new. Lol. Came with a great warranty as well.

Unless you need something that is really fast you can't go wrong with a Corolla. I recently got a 22 Corolla and was suprised with the included bells and whistles that come with the base LE model. For an everyday driver or ridesharing it's a great budget option.

Great car for college kids. I always maintain my car well and plan to hand down my 2017 Lexus ES to my son in his second year of college, by then the Lexus will be 9 year old and less than 80K miles. Plus it gives me a chance to buy a new car :)

Man I remember when the Corolla was less than $20K .

Actually when you adjust for inflation, it's not bad. You can buy a 2023 Corolla LE for around 25k, which would be 15k in 2000 era dollars. Not bad.

I bought this exact model car about a week ago. Second car for the family since we have a town and country and that eats up gas. My wife uses it mostly since I work from home. The car I bought is turning to my wife’s now. So I guess I’m gonna get another car in the future after I pay off the corolla. Im thinking another corolla or a Camry 😊

2023 Corolla LE has some pretty big updates, including a bigger engine that makes the car much faster. So please tell your daughter to not speed!
