One important point - notice these are all those are WELCOME deals. You can only get ONE of those things for $1, see the crossed-out price for the REAL number. They also often don't include the shipping cost either.
You can trick this, use a new phone number if required (there are services for this, which allow you to get a 2nd one, otherwise use something like Visible free trial or Netzclub), throwaway debit card (Privacy, VIMPay, etc.) and intentionally misspelled address (Ali seems to differentiate between Av and Avenue for example, whereas a postal service should catch this), this has worked plenty of times for me. There are better deals than this however.
@@Hacktuberso what's the point of buying them on ali instead ebay?! eBay is much much more better! eBay is safer, you can pay via paypal and get a refund if something is wrong in short time. Ali is a scammer chinese reseller without any warranties (of receiving and refunding) with months-long shipping time (or 10x the cost of the item if you want a shorter time shipping) 1.000 thumbs up for eBay. 10.000 down for ali, temu etc: SCAMMERS!!!
It's a con. If I open the Aliexpress website I see all these WELCOME deals for $1 but as soon as I log in or click "Buy now" the price changes to something a lot more and they want to hit me with the same cost in shipping - especially if you live in a far-off country like I do.
That last item is a boost converter only. It won't reduce voltage. They do sell buck/boost converters that look almost like this, but they will have two inductors (the black square thing). I use them in almost every project. If battery powered, it can hold the voltage constant as battery declines. In mains powered, it makes it so you can use any wall-wart power supply 3v, 6v, 12v, doesn't matter. Boost/Buck converter will hold voltage steady. Also note, amp capacity is closely related to size of inductor. For best capacity, pick the ones that say 220 or 330. One more thing (there always is) there is a ceramic filter capacitor and small inductor next to the positive output. Cheap ones omit this, and noise is terrible. Make sure it's there.
I enjoy adding mute and standby function to those little Pam modules. Simply remove the IV and cut 2traces under it and add jumpers from those pins too ground. Datasheet will back this up. Great little video
to be fair< I could have only dreamed of these gadgets being this affordable years ago. personally I think the amplifier boards and the step up/down one are really cool
@@Hacktuber Yes but seriously, if I would get a similar board here(which also comes from China 100%) they charge at minimum double, more likely the amp boards will be around 10 eur. Sad but true, but if they keep pricing stuff that high for more profit, I rather order them directly on Ali :)
Dude. I thought this was a great video. I am always searching for my next electronics project and these cheap AliExpress components are very interesting and very useful. I appreciate that you took the time to go through these products and give us your take on it. Great job. You earned my subscription.
what's REALLY Cool are these newfangled rechargeable batteries that output 1.5V with a much flatter discharge curve with USB C port for charging each cell.
So happy to see you now at 1.3M subscribers. Quite incredible for a technical channel.!!! Well done. I've enjoyed your videos for years, and hope to continue enjoying years into the future.
Some items one cannot find documentation, like the various 'VI Curve Tracer' gadgets, with about 13 different configurations in the same enclosure, a few with display that would be unreadable for the job it is doing. Somehow the one I ended-up with had the display and no BNC connectors for a scope. That went back, returned for no docs. Then I found the same unit, but WITH the BNC scope connectors, for half the price, but still no docs. At least the packages from/through AliExpress are not stomped-on, like wish.CON's are half the time.
I have had some issues with those cheap 555 Timer IC's. Some of them didn't work. I made a 555 IC tester with a couple of LED's, so I can test them out.
The cheap USB Testers do not compensate for the Voltage they drop or the extra Current they draw running their own circuitry, especially their display, so V will always be a tad low and A high. buyer beware
I'm not sure what country you live in and maybe you've just had great luck getting the items you order but, I live in Arizona USA and every time I have ordered things it doesn't come for months and when it comes it's not what I ordered. Any suggestions on the way it's ordered or ??? There have been some things i'd like to try from your list !
Look for suppliers that have US based distribution points. Yes shipping from overseas takes a very long time so many suppliers stock their products in the US distribution bases.
The above comments are correct, but then can be more expensive. The idea is to be patient, I have waited for 2 months for things and forgot I ordered them. With ebay I have had only a couple of issues with Chinese sellers (and probably not seller related), so if you are patient then all good. I even pay more via ebay as I do not want the hassle of my bank account details with additional platforms. Unfortunately sellers have to jump to the next platform Fad, and sometimes You struggle to find things on ebay for a good price as too much work to be on all platforms I guess...
@@Hacktuber probably because I think it wasent aliexpress fault it was a hacker that managed to hijack my google account! But I rather stay off aliexpress but one thing you should never buy their is ssd, external drives, HDD and SD cards as they are a scam!
What is your favorite Gadget and why?,please comment below thank you
The Arduino board would be my favourite, it may get me to learn to program a micro controller at that cheap price.
The display #8. I wonder if it is touch-sensitive and would even pay a dollar more for that feature 😉

If you search them on ebay you will get similar prices
I stopped watching the video at that point

I personally liked the very small old display, so many uses for that little gadget.
I am loving too,I prepare new diy project using 64x32 oled

"wow, this is satisfying" while stroking a bunch of 555 chips 😁. True passion, Hacktuber! May your channel thrive.
Thank you, I am enjoying it too 😄
I feel the same about this 100pcs LM13700 bought on eBay at 1980's price, so they may or may not be real.

I love that FM radio you made, it's not so good at reception, but the design and size is AWESOME 👍
The reception is bad bcz I am in my cave 🙂

For sure😄

Love the "discharge"

Can you make a tutorial on how to make a powerbank in which we can add more of those rechargeable batteries that all powerbanks use?
