Love this, Patrick - you have a great eye for what's important! This is definitely a fun little camper. I didn't really have a guess but I agree with other folks here that $2500 is high considering the extent of the water damage. But you have to ask for more than you think you can get. Thanks!!

Wow I missed my guess by a long way as to the listed price. Probably because I was trying to judge what I thought it’s value was by what I saw in this walk around. I started out at $2800 then deducted as you assessed it. Based on several factors; extensive water damage, no power or water, no spare and tires need replacing. I’m also concerned about the frame being several years newer than the camper and sloppily painted like they were trying to hide something. $750 would be my valuation IF I wanted to take on a project where I could easily invest another $2-3000. Cute trailer though and could easily make a nice little weekender for someone willing to invest the time and money. Thanks for the walk around I really enjoyed this episode.

I think for $1000 and some sweat equity, it would be a good investment

@Baba Ganush I agree about the storage box on the front, it’s trash. The utility area in the back almost looks like parts are missing, like shelves or something have been removed because they were damaged.

Fun video format. I appreciate your perspective on these. I was shocked when you said it wasn’t that far gone and it would be something you would buy if you had time! Definitely a newbie here, lol.

Yo Patrick, I like the idea of this new segment. My ballpark figure would have been $900 & the repairs needed. Very Kool looking rig.

I guessed $1,100 with no title and the work that needs to be done. But it's a cool project for someone to take on. I really like this new series. I only buy pre-owned, never brand new. Thanks for sharing, Patrick!

I highly recommend the Hi-Lo brand of travel trailers. They're unique, and the entire thing hydraulically lifts up which is great fun and a conversation starter, mostly for campgrounds but unfortunately not for off road applications due to low ground clearance.

At first I thought $3500, but towards the end I came down to $2500 because of all the work it needs. I’d offer them $1800 and go up to $2000 max. There’s a lot of work to be done and it’s not going to be easy to get to the water damage wood. It would be a good project for a young person that doesn’t have much money or an older person with a lot of time. Good idea Patrick

  • @SouthCanadian

Love those fenders! My early guess was $4000. After seeing the broken roof vent I guessed $2000. After seeing the rest of the water damage I guessed $1000.

The "Trailer" tire is made for tandem axles ... and a regular road tire can be used for single axle ... that being said some have put 10 ply road tires (non-"trailer") on tandems because the side walls are stronger than 4 ply or 6 ,, trailer tires are built so side walls can twist with axles when maneuvering without breaking the belts.

    Great idea for new segment.
Cool set-up. I guessed it would be listed for 2500, but given its shape I would not pay more than 1000. For a handy person it could be a fun project. If someone were to plan on sleeping in it, it would need some sort of barrier or screen from the back open area.

The fenders would look good with 68 era VW tail lights. This thing is way cool. Did the axle ride on leafs? It looked mounted rigid to me. It might be better to start with a newer trailer and look for big fenders to mount. I guess 3k. I wanted it at the beginning. I wouldn't take it for free by the end. 1995? Did you really say that wasn't far gone? That looks like it's from 1953

  • @kenworth1824

I'd probably pay about $1500. & your right. Throw a grand at it, a little at a time, & you'd have a sweet little teardrop. If it was closer to me, I'd probably snag it. It'll look pretty sweet, once done, behind my little Canyon pickup.

@New Jersey Outdoor Adventures you're absolutely right about that!!! And it also has quite a few headaches too. Either way, those headaches wouldn't stop me from buying something like that! But only of they took the $1500 offer that I'd offer them for it. Maybe $2000. But nothing more than that. It will be worth it in the end....🤔

The amount of damage on this old girl, I wouldn’t pay more than $1,000, then you said no title…down to $750 because of the hassle of a title. Looks like the entire rig needs rebuilt, but would be totally worth it as the frame is good and the overall look is adorable.
I definitely would NOT pay what their asking.
