Love your enthusiasm for simply getting out boating Bren-putting the mighty Dee in the same breath as the Zambezi is fab. As a semi-retired Dee local, its videos like this that put kindling on the fire....... look forward to rounding up the old guard and getting back on Llangollen's finest sometime this winter. Keep the ace videos coming :)
A ton of great rivers out there but seems like the home river is always the sweetest. From the Dee to the SF Payette, gotta love 'em. Nice work as always on bringing us along on your adventures. Cheers
We just spent a week chasing water round Nth Wales and it was as dry as a bone thank heavens for the Dee, old faithful runs 365, must of been a shock to the system that icey Welsh mountain water, thank palm for thermals happy new year
Argh the age old struggle, I have been in the chasing water and ending up on the Dee or Tryweryn struggle before. Fingers crossed for this next weeks forecast! Happy new year mate!
@@Senders it should not be a problem at this time of year, everything should be flowing, however it was so mild last week, it was like August in the snowdonia national Park, have you run the lledr? Running down the A470 from flestiniog?
@@carocollingwood6369 they had 7 cummins on Friday, just open for kayaking, if you go on the national white water center Web page they have the weekly release schedule, hopefully will have some for the weekend as lee valley has a private venue all weekend, and they had releases up till beginning of November when the centre shuts for the winter
Oh man. I had a pic of that side surf. Of Steve at work back in the day To remind me it would rain soon and I could get back in my boat The D looks like a fun time 🥳
Bren; You may not be a millionaire yet, but ya certainly are kind of getting to live like a millionaire. I know i would love to travel to the places you get to see, and (even with my social anxiety) meet a lot of the people you get to meet.
@@Senders I sure hope i get to catch yall on the water one of these days.. You could make s special stop in Indiana and do some runs (im sure for yall they would be extremely mild).. Although if you look up "Falls of the Ohio kayaking" youll see we do have at least one big water feature. I hope to be in that kind of water one of these days!!!!! And thank you so much for the reply.. yayyyyy EDIT NOTE: We do have at least a couple nice runs for being a mostly flat state withe not much whitewater.. Big Pine Creek is a really nice run... Im sure you can always check out AW for the list of runnable rivers.. :-)
Sweet micro eddy catch at 2:04.

Yes Bren! Sweet video,
Dee is always a goer! Even better when she’s running at ZamDEEzi levels..! 😉😂🤙

Great video man, keep it up!
Cheers dude!
Coolest shuttle ever!
I just got a GoPro for kayaking, and I was wondering what the most important accessories are in your opinion?
Wow! Really cool! 😁
Super nice 😁
Sick video man!👍
I was at the Dee today
Nice, hope you had a great lap!
What’s the water like is it refreshing or warm or both
On the Zam it feels like it came out of a kettle, on the Dee it felt like it bloody freezing
Hey Bren - When you fly your boat out - does it go as regular luggage or is there a surcharge?
Depends on the airline mate, sometimes it's for free sometimes it costs $300+
I really thought Bren was going to boof into the rock
And in a downhill kayak it crosses this river?😂😂🛶
Nice🤙
