    They also use that clear cord for beading and jewellery making, if that helps for people to find it.

    Just a day too late😢. Just yesterday I had leftover deep pour resin & took 2” cube mold and added small beach shells. I tried to wait in between adding.. hoping resin thickened to have layers. You guessed it.. it all sank so I just filled it to the top with shells. Wish I saw this first; but you know how it is scrambling to find something to fill before it sets. Thanks 🙏 now I know how to suspend anything.

    Hello Steve. First I'd like to say that I'm very glad that you're feeling better, and that you see how many people really do care about you as being a good person. (I had said special prayers for your strength that you'd continue to use your God-Given talents). Secondly, it goes without saying, but you've done it again. I have some heavier stones just like you have, and I thought that they'd look really nice in resin, but I only thought of them being put in a necklace, where they could cure flat. I never thought about them being in something like the mold that you used. That type of mold would make a nice decoration in a room, or be given as a momento. Your idea even made me think of them being put in a pyramid, but I'll have to figure that out, since it flips over. Well, nice job, and thankx for again stimulating my thoughts on how to make different types of projects. I can't wait to see your next video's on both of your channels.

    I think that came out extremely well and the stones/glass looked great in the resin. It was a good way to use them, clever using the clear cord! I have learned so much from you Steve. Lots of clever ways to do things that make life simpler. Thank you Steve. God bless you and your family.

    How clever!! My husband & I are rock hounds and have ended up with more than what we can display well. This is such a great idea! We have a lot of clean quartz crystal points that I have used by sticking them in trays & shelves but we have a lot of colored stones that I just hadn't come up with an idea I liked - until now! Like you I love the little bubbles in the resin.
    Once again, thank you for sharing your great ideas. You have the most creative mind to come up with all these ideas.

    Oh, now that is just so cool, Steve! It turned out great! ❤
    Some tiny fish and underwater plants would be a great idea! You could even leave a half inch space (2 or 3 cm?) at the top of the mold, let it cure, cut off the strings, and then top it off with sand and tiny pebbles mixed in resin. How cool would that be?

  • @carolthorburn2979

    I love that mold a gift bag right ? I have a similar mold but yours it prettier 😉 I really liked the way it turned out. • @ProfessorJayTee
    @ProfessorJayTee ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You could cut a small hole in the "hanging top" you made, as well. After placing in the suspended items, use the small hole to "top-up" your resin perfectly to reach the very top of the mold. That way no resin overspills from putting in too much at the start, and you're not short either.

    This came out awesome! And what's the difference or reason for using deep pour resin vs the normal jdiction resin? Is there a lot of difference? I can't quite find an answer online .-.

    • @nessanixe7286
      @nessanixe7286 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In a deep mold, some regular resins can flash cure, overheat/smoke, or fuse to the mold. One fix is just to use your normal resin but fill the mold in multiple pours instead of one :)
