I did my cuts with an RK2. I fizzled out and deleted my channel shortly after. Would love to see these grades make a resurgence though. Was a great test of skill then and now. @freestyleswordsman
Thanks Fisher, means a lot from one of the originators of these grades. I forgot a few of them and gotta go back and get a few cleaner. It's been a blast revisiting this with a heavier katana though. @KF1
@@SpaceGhost182 Rock on. Looked like a lot of fun. Even that miss was still a great set! Also, to be fair, we just borrowed the Toyama mat patterns and applied them to bottles. Tatami is great but not worth the price, considering how much more you can get out of bottles, and the creativity factor. For mats, cardboard or newspaper with dowel cores is a great option. Blows straw mats out of the water imo. You should give them a try.
Keeping the burst of energy you need to move a blade that long and heavy under control to produce the speed to hit both those bottles... Nice work!🤘⚔Same-siders were awesome!
Wait a minute since when was this 1560 instead of 5160 did dragon king change the steel on me can I get a sword in the winter sun was made of 5160 high carbon spring steel
Messed up a few and forgot a few. Just a couple doubles from the 2b bottle Curriculum
Awesome, I should practice doubles more myself
Awesome speed with a long blade. I love watching the master at work.
Hardly the master but I appreciate the kind words my friend @Tempestbladeargus
The same side double kirage with such a heavy sword is impressive
I messed up one of them and hit the top bottle first. Got the second one though @erichusayn
It’s so awesome to see you guys doing the fsc curriculum/patterns. Well done brother. Brings back a lot of memories.
@freestyleswordsman seemed like a good challenge with the longer heavier blade. Been a blast to go back to.
@@SpaceGhost182 I did those with a tsunami and yuki. Still have my t shirts from beating it though my wife wears them now lol

Nicely done! 5:30 has got to be the hardest one with that weight. Great fortitude, man!

Fear not the man who has practiced a 1000 moves. Fear the man who has practiced 1, a 1000 times. -someone wiser than me
