Jared, Thanks for this video. I've had my caddy for several years & it has leaked from the beginning. Not sure how you figured out the missing O Ring, but it worked great👍👍👍👍👍!

Great video. What size O-Ring did you use on it??

What size was that oring? The kit you had has the size printed on the card on the inside.

I like your gas cap is the original or something you added. Looking for a new one for my caddy.

Thanks for the video and modification tip. I was about to spend $180 on a new GPI pump and then try and figure out how to attach it to the non-standard bung but the O-ring did the trick.. Thanks!!!

What is the diameter and thickness of the o-ring you used?

Did you ever get a response on this? Really important.

He doesn't know the exact size, he told you guys in the video that he bought a kit and eyeballed it. You may have to buy a few and test and tune it like he did.

Thanks, Captain Obvious. Next time you don’t have anything helpful to say, don’t say it.

I appreciate the review and have been interested in one of these tanks, but very little legit reviews of them. How has it held up since the o-ring replacement/installation? Has the fuel level gauge worked? Thanks

NCSUME1 fuel gauge doesn’t really work. I just shake the tank to feel what’s in it! The tank leaks a little but when cranking the pump, but nothing like it did before. At least it’s useable now.

@@jrodjared Thanks. There are a lot of these out there at all different price points and they all seem kinda crummy. Might as well spend ~250 and modify vs 450 and have similar issues. Thanks again.
PS. Decent hand pumps cost as much as this rig

@@NCSUME1 It would be cool to compare side by side, but I agree. They're probably both made of the same quality anyway so why pay more?

The teflon tape you used didn't look like it was rated for fuels. Also, please check the O ring you used to ensure it too is rated for gasoline. Cheers!
