I might be American but I really apreciate listening to this type of music. And this is coming from someone who mostly listing to Country, Pop, and Rock music as my top 3. And this might come in as a close 4th.
lots of color in the music, thank you for playing in a way that is traditional in feel , but not 'flat line'. Love your style. I have played GuZheng from 1882 to present . Having lived in H.K. , China, and Inner-Mongolia, I can appreciate your playing. I still aspire to sound like you. It is easy for a Westerner to listen to your music. Lots of passion , strong and controlled but at the same time free to express the beauty . Love you. Mary
Roland Strykala, artist's name is Bei Bei He (but not Bei Bei Zheng), instrument's name is Gu Zheng. Her channel on TH-cam is "BeiBeizheng". "Dance of Blue Lotus" is her own composition, written in 2011 - so it must be Chinese style, as Bei Bei is Chinese, not Japanese. Anyway, music is superb!

BeiBei, I make wonder? Will you be able to play the Guzheng for many, many years or will the fingers get tired like mine have become with age? Sometimes hard to me on the computer keys! Ha! When age "sets-in" you will be the Sage and just do the teaching and listening. So lovely a Lady.
