I still remember how I got into Undertale. I had been seeing it for months on tumblr and didn't know what it was about. It was a pixel art game but there was some impressive realistic art of it. I was a bit skeptical about it being a pixel game and all and decided to recommend it to a friend, and so she watched a lets play on youtube. 3 days later she talked to me and said: "This is the best game ever". I couldn't believe her and watched a lets play from the game grumps. In no time I adored the game, its characters, the amazing soundtrack and the touching story behind it. The game exceeded my expectations already before I knew about the Genocide Run. I was astonished that such a light hearted game could become so dark. And that's what I love about Undertale. You really have to think about your decisions because the game REMEMBERS it. 1,5 years later and I listen to the soundtrack everyday, look for more art of the game or make it myself. This game has inspired me so much and I hope for more games from Toby Fox.

Then, when I came back from a school nature retreat, I drew maybe one or two of the characters, and my parents asked about it, which then spiraled into them buying it for me as a birthday present (my birthday happened to be that week).

Then, I saw something called underswap. Knowing it would be related to undertale, I clicked. Then, I slowly overtime discovered a ton of AU's and comics made by undertale fans -I even shipped a bit- *COUGH*.
I discovered when I was going through a video I think was called “top 10 final bosses” and omega flowey was one of them, I started to look more into omega flowey, then undertale, I loved it, and I always wanted to get a computer so I can play it myself, then a few months after, my dad’s keyboard for his laptop wasn’t working and he had to buy a new one, and he gave the computer to me and said he would fix the keyboard, untill then I couldn’t get through the password, even tho I knew what it was, but then I thought I could use the on screen key board that I could use, the day after, I got undertale, it was annoying to play with an on screen keyboard, but the game was fun, and I loved it, and when I heard that Nintendo announced undertale for the switch, I was so happy, and the fandom doesn’t stop me from loving it, eventually the got keyboard fixed

Art can be simplistic, yet appeasing to the eyes, it doesn't have to be realistic like Horizon Zero Dawn. In fact, I don't even like super realistic graphics (no offence I know graphics can take a while to perfect) I just like simple artstyles like Night In The Woods.
Art has and always will be the expression of one's heart and soul.Anyone that tells you otherwise is not an artist,just like most doctors aren't qualified to be doctors like that jerk that said my obviously broken thumb wasn't broken and then charged me $15,000 i don't have for him being a negative money grubbing nilly.
I had a teacher like that back in high school. It was the only art class I took, and it made me so frustrated and upset when I would spend days working on an assignment and she'd scold me for it not being realistic enough. But, now I realize that she wasn't necessarily pushing me away from animated styles, and more so pushing me to learn multiple styles so I could eventually create my own. Drawing anime is fun and all, but learning a variety of styles gives you an opportunity to see what you like and don't like, what appeals to you and what doesn't, until eventually you have a style to call your own. It's been about 10 years since I had that class, and I'm certainly not an artist at the level of Temmie Chang or anything like that, but I've developed my own style and design. A lot of it is still very rooted in animation (especially details that I'm not particularly good at like eyes and hands) but I've also adapted a lot of the realism techniques she taught me and that I picked up along the way in my designs as well.

I had wanted to go to art school when I was eight, and while that was three years ago, I am still wanting partway to go. The reason I say partway is because I've heard from other artists (*COUGH COUGH EROLDSTORY COUGH*) about how Art teachers are trying to only support realism, and not the artisticly amazing digital art we know and love today, such as toony styles, and anime. But, I am still willing to go and filled with DETERMINATION.

The reason I say partway is because I've heard from other artists (*COUGH COUGH EROLDSTORY COUGH*) about how Art teachers are trying to only support realism, and not the artisticly amazing digital art we know and love today, such as toony styles, and anime. But, I am still willing to go and filled with DETERMINATION.

Did temmie ever say Chara wasn't evil, I feel like she did but I can't find where.

In real life temmie was trying to raise money to pay her college debt.
I actually saw some of her art in Momodora 2, which came out before Undertale.
