Where do you guys think Midas is and who do you guys think he is working for, himself, I.O. or The Seven?

Midas does not work for anyone. He does help the seven since him and seven have the same goal. He is hiding so io has no clue hes still here. A sneak suprise attack to io breaking them apart. And yeahh it was obvious in season 4 that midas revenge was made just cause midas was super hype and they abused his fame to hype up the players! That was not a big part of the story

When it comes to Marigold - she is most likely Midas' daughter, who, unlike Jules, inherited his power.
After all, Marigold (Zoe's nickname) was a name of King Midas daughter from Greek mythos.
Proven by the dialogues and interactions between Midas, Jules and Marigold's NPC in C2S7 they are working together on some sort of plan.
Highly likely, Scrapknight is not a snapshot but a bit older Jules who works undercover in IO along with Marigold.
MIdas has a Marigold tattoo on his right leg which is pretty strange if you assume she's his daughter and makes more sense if you assume she's his wife since getting tattoos of a spouse is much more common and intuitive than getting one of your kid

@@biblical_figure Marigold Tattoo is a reference to Midas's Yacht from Chapter 2 Season 2, I'm pretty sure Marigold skin is a snapshot of midas.
I feel as Midas will be more important next season mostly because if the comics take place during season 3 most of the seven will be in the marvel reality and Ghost will take over the resistance.
He’s definitely going to be important starting next season. With the return of Ghost and Shadow we are bound to see the return of the agents and Midas. It seems like all the smaller factions we’ve seen before will all pick a side and merge with either the Seven or the I.O. during this war.
Well the whole theory behind the Ghost flags meaning The Seven and Ghost are allied has fallen through, for now. I was right, the Ghost flags were just placeholders.
We’ve recently seen an image from epic games with the obi wan bundle, a loading screen, showing scrapknight jules working with IO
I believe ghoul Shadow midas was the Resurrection of a Midas snapshot as we have seen Snapshots who are very different then their original versions, most likely due to the incident that resulted in their victory in leaving the loop and landing on the actual island as we saw in the Batman comic. Now one question I have is how magic and meta abilities work in the loop but I guess we'll have to wait for a proper explanation.
The reason someone resurrected a snapshot of Midas is that nobody knew that wasn't the real Midas except the IO, the seven and Jules. This is because Midas is very secretive so nobody knew he was trying to escape the loop
I think, if Midas really is coming back (which I hope he is),that Midas will have a white jacket. White jacket fits him xD
I have new information. I watches this video 4 weeks later. Jules is working for IO. In the Obi-Wan Kanobe loading screen she is with th IO. Also to answer the question about Mary Gold. She is Midis's other daughter, just inserted later. Seasons ago if you play as Mary Gold and talk to Jules she make a comment that there sister's.
I have 2 theorys to share
4:28 I'm think Lynx was knowing it too since there was a photo of her along side Midas and Jules's in Joney's room. Also she is here since Season 7 and there was a photo of Meowscles at her pc in one of the loading screens. Also the castle in Burning Wolf trailer is kinda looks like a Haunted Hills but i migth be wrong. So, i'm think Midas here for a long time.
2. You did talk about Midas and Seven are enemies or friend teams. Well, i have a theory about it. There was 2 leaked Midas skins in Survey, one of them is Midas Drip🥶and other one is Young Midas but i did see some people call it Academy Midas. Anyways, what if Imagined Order made a snapshot of the Young Midas and that snapshot is working on the new Doomsday Device. Also i have a kinda related theory that when Device event happaned Loop did create a snapshot of the Midas remembering everything and send it into Gotham beacuse we know Gotham and ZeroPoint has connections. And Original Midas left in Loop. Imagined Order migth have captured Midas Rex since he is in Gotham. Also Midas Rex's armour looks similar to the Lex Luthor's armour🤨🤨
Anyways Midas Drip 🥶 also migth be important beacuse he is the most uniuqe reskin of Midas wich very rare. Anyways so if my theory true Midas have 3 versions important and i love this idea a lot

In todays season,you are now able to find meowscles in the reality falls in a small cabin,and if you approach and interact with him as any midas skin,he replies with “woah…..are we back online?” This may possibly be a hint to Midas’s return.

I think midas is hiding in the shadows of the IO with the rest of the chapter 2 season 2 characters as they have rooms hidden in blimps and io bases maybe they are waiting for io to be destroyed by the seven so they can take control of the island and betray the seven because we all know that midas is only loyal to who he deems worthy he may be waiting for the right time to strike.
Personally, I think Marigold and the Halloween Midas were just quick cash grabs and are not related to the storyline.
I think he is on the sevens side because dr Slone and Midas fell apart and Midas tried to stop the loop but slone tried to destroy it that’s my theory

what if ego was with the seven. In the season 2 trailer of chapter 3, we see chaos with IO so this implies that Alter was the IO sub group!
I Think That Midas Will Help The Seven And Destroy The Chrome And Turn It To Gold Instead.
With fortnitemares that might have been a plan made by Midas to make the IO believe that he was dead or to just cause chaos
I got the marigold bundle while the seven were fighting for daily bugle and if you do her quests she says do not tell anyone about her being there so that was SUS

Ok here is what I think
Midas isnt working for anyone he has pepole working in both The Seven and The IO to get intel on them for his revenge
Renegade shadow beeing with both seven and IO and Chaos agent beeing in IO for he has a bigger rank there
Midas wouldnt join the seven because foundation goes crazy every time someone uses the zero point and mr gold over here used it for his device and he wouldnt work for the IO because he most likley wants revenge on them
At the end of the story Midas is a third party with Ghost and Shadow beeing ranks within his company he has several hideouts and money laundering schemes (oil company the restaurant no sweat )
And he will most likley appear in the season 2 event where his men would most likley sabotage the mech and the knockoff doomsday machine
Hearing what you said about midas being in I.O then switching sides. I'm thinking he asked slone if he could take job as leader of the scout team for ego/ghost (I.O) and she said yes and he created Alter/shadow on the side. Having leadership over both teams he manipulated the battlefield in order to distract I.O from his device to fight the storm or the loop.
I reckon Midas, was either a member of io’s doomsday division or formerly the head of it as I’m guessing that, Midas like Jonesy figured out IO’s true motive and tried to leave IO but got chucked into the loop, therefore tying up a loose end, but on the other hand, the collider was very similar to Midas’s device which probably means they copied his designs which, considering that he used to work with them, suggested that they had spare blueprints for a doomsday device like the collider. Midas is ex Io and as of right now is out of the loop with jules and marigold outside with him... I don’t know if Midas will return but it’s been roumored that he will be a big part of the story line soon ;) I’ll update this if he makes a return if not..... may he live with his daughter Jules in peace(Jules is Midas’s daughter confirmed)
In Paradice questline there was mention of something called Loop Breaker project. Idk why but it just screams Midas to me...

Actually with the flag being a ghost one epic fixed that before the season ended it wasn't supposed to be there but i think in either chapter 3 season 1 or 2 or even 3 the golden chair and toilet could be found also in i believe a picture in slones room in season 7 chapter 2 midas and jules were shown while young slone was doing a math equation
If Midas daughter is on shadow and he cares about his family so much, then I would think he is on shadow
GHOST was part of EGO which was a scout team sent by IO, so I dont think they are for the seven
