I am still amazed by the color in Moscow buildings and infrastructure. It contrasts considerably from the 1980s vision of Moscow the western media still project in the present day. I look forward to the next mini tour! 😊

@@GoodFella-xw8yx that is the point about the western main stream media. It keeps us in the dark or in the past. They won't publicise the economic development/recovery of Russia. Particularly the idea Russia might have better policies.
Well in the 1980s the Western media was showing Moscow with horse carriages on streets and coal heating buildings. So they are catching up.

Why do I like watching Lisa's videos? Because she is a simple, clean, normal girl. Very brave... but at the same time fragile. She shows us her "normal" life, it seems like we are there with her... just as she is, cute, not artificial, elegant but sometimes insecure. With all the "respect" due to a Lady, the instinct would be to give him a "pinch".... with sympathy.

Lisa, you're not the only one who feels drained after doing a lot of talking, especially around other people. I'm like that too, and I bet many of your viewers are too! You are able to get through all of that though, and are still able to go out and record more videos. You're doing a fantastic job!
The travel expenses are getting bad for most places, and you were just looking at the flights. That doesn't include the money spent once you're at the vacation place. Hotels, restaurants, and sightseeing all cost money too. It's gotten to the point where a lot of people just do "staycation" where they stay in their own country, but still try to see something new to them. That's what I do these days.

@@lisa_with_love wow what is the reason behind the flights prices being many times more expensive than in the past to go to Asia? I thought that was happening only to flights coming and going to Europe and western countries as a result of the economic sanctions but not to the other asian countries too.
According to what you shared the price increment is almost the same as the prices until 2021 in Europe/UK, when we could fly from London or Madrid to Moscow for just $150, and sometimes $200 for a round trip

I concur with the nighttime snacking in bed; the only bad part is dealing with crumbs afterward. As far as the pace of life in Moscow it mirrors big city life in Canada. Regarding depression, modern pills and therapy cause dependencies with harmful side effects, especially when one gets older. yoga, meditation and calming music are the best remedies and cost nothing. Try associating with Bhakti groups in Moscow. People are genuinely friendly and sincerely helpful. I discovered the virtuous of giving up meat and alcohol which has completely. Cured my mental and physical problems. Make a video on Vegetarian and Bhakti scene in Moscow. Good luck!

Package tours are not that expensive in Russia even now (compared to booking tickets separately). I was offered a few weeks ago a trip to Goa with direct flight from Moscow and hotel for just 70k Rub. Thailand is more expensive but its probably possible to find something for like 120k per person. Although it should be pretty hot in both places already for a comfortable vacation.

That thai food would cost $12 $15 (or more with drink) here in California. Not sure what wages are like in Russia, but even adjusting for that I bet it's much cheaper.

How much is your gym membership in Russia? I bet my gym membership in the US is cheaper. I only pay $49 a year and the price hasn't changed in over 25 years and will never change. The gym is open 24 hours/7 days a week and no it's not ghetto it's actually very nice. Let's just say others people pay much more, around $30-$60 per month or more.
it depends, but the gym closest to me (in Moscow) costs about $400 a year 🥲

Reading Russian is difficult enough but when it's reversed ... ОЙ ... gives me a headache. The movie theater in my city is very old ... built in 1914 ... and has a balcony with seats that not many people know about. That is where I go when I want to watch a movie so I can be all by myself up there.
