Nice fix MT. Yeah those crank side seals can be a pain especially if they just crammed the spacer bushing in at the factory. I would have dug a little deeper for your piece of rope in your tool bag to get the clutch off but I guess we'll see what the top of the piston looks like when you tear the saw down to port it... 😉😉
Good idea in that screw driver mod, it's nice you can figure out these problems so the rest of us not familiar with saws that much can learn a trick or two, kind of sad to say but it's kind of nice when you have issues then tear down the saws and eliminate the problems so we can learn, huge wealth of information
Best way to take off a clutch in my experience is an impact driver(with the appropriateclutchtool). No piston stop required. Broke a clutch ona poulan using a punch and hammer. Lol nevermind, didn't watch far enough.
Do not ever use a stop when using a impact when removing a clutch.,especially on this brand of saws. This brans is pure junk,I have seen to many issues. Neotec is a fae better clone saw,may be a abit more in prices bui they offer warranty and actually try to do quality control unlikethese jokers.

You’re right about the rope. Would have probably saved the clutch. I think that was the only damage

Thanks Man! Glad the vids are helpful
@@Man-Time been learning quite a bit here thanks
Thanks!
Big thanks Man! Very appreciated
Spray brake clean on the saw while idling and if you have an air leak it will stall the saw when you hit it. There’s videos on it
Excellent point. Although I’ve had mixed results especially on the flywheel side.

I’ve see the neotech’s have issues also, but this is turning out to be a POS no doubt
Clutch removal tool & rope is the way to go, not chisel… 😢
