Setthorns Camping in the forest

I agree theres no internet 2017 we went there and my brand new landrover needed taking back to east sussex the lorry dropped us back at setthorns, it was a nightmare trying to contact insurance and hire company to get a car big enough to load all our stuff on, then our batteries were going we walked along way to get reception enough to tell my son to ring to get us a car one was dropped off next day. Out of the 52 yeas we been going to The new forest this was the worst, before the car problem, had already driven there and back in same day as my grandaugter was unwell i took them home, then went back next day to continue our holiday was going great for 2 days.Nice site my Mum and Dad used to go there.

Great campsite. I’ve booked to go the Herman Hits the Road rally in the New Forest later this year and I’m going to plan a tour there and back. I noticed at the last rally a few people headed to the Isle of Wight after the rally so I’m going to investigate that. Thanks as always for sharing a very informative video.

You talk about bike tracks in the mud and good tracks for mountain biking. NOOO. The New Forest Code will tell you that cycling is only permitted on designated waymarked cycle routes.
