We use WDW transportation system and the only place I saw a screen at a waiting area was at the Contemporary Resort which showed the bus routes and wait times. If I were an app writer, I'd write and app for WDW Transportation Wait Times so I could stay in my room and walk up to the waiting bus at the right moment and not have to wait at the stop more than I really have to. All the buses have GPS on them by now. So it would be a breeze to incorporate their positions in the app.
To my knowledge, they have them at all of the Moderate and Deluxe resorts. They weren't at the value (movies) when we went at the end of 2015, but they were at Carribean Beach last week when we were there. I will say, though, while they are nice - they're not really accurate at all. Every minute they would update with an additional +/- 2-5 min from the last estimate. Then the bus would just randomly show up and the time would suddenly be "current". They were helpful for knowing if you just missed a bus, though, as the time would just be blank for a few min after a bus left. I could also see that the "randomness" may have been more of an issue at Carribean Beach however since it has 7 stops. It might be a bit more accurate at resorts with a single stop. So it gives you a general "idea," but you still get to play the "oh, there's a bus! please be ours, please be... dangit!" game
Oh wow, that guitar player was awesome. His facial expressions while playing were amazing. And Tim saying saying are we not allowed to get close was strangely hilarious. Such a relatable social comment about people's shyness. Also, is Eddie Van Halen playing? Lol. Then that camera shot of what played in the uber cracked me up as well. Great vlog.

I understand your frustration with the transportation. My friend and I had a very similar issue when trying to make it to our dining reservations on our last vacation.
I lived in Miami for 22 years (Almost my entire life). Now that I live in Washington state I watch you guys to get a the thrill of what I miss from living in Florida. The few times I get to travel to visit family I make sure to hit up parks non stop. But this is as close as it gets to home. Thank you guys! Keep it up!
Great video Tim. Just so you know though, your idea of getting a boat to Saratoga was an excellent one, but the Saratoga boat runs from The Landing dock, not from the West Side dock. So next time just remember to go to the Landing Dock at Disney Springs to wait for a boat to Saratoga. Also, Uber drivers can only pick up from the west side area, they're not allowed at the Town Center by the Disney buses. Also, Uber rides START at $5.00 and go up from there.

And since you're not like a seasoned food reviewer (no pun intended...) it kind of gives it a more down to earth and credible feel, you know? Not everyone might agree with me, but I'd keep the food reviews just like what you did here. Other than that, yeah just another great vid, your attention to details is amazing, thanks to you I'll be paying attention to so much more stuff the next time I visit.
Next time you should walk to Saratoga. When we come over from the uk we usually stay there and it's only a 5 minute walk to downtown. It's an open path into the complex so you don't need any passes to get to one of numerous bus stops in the resort.
We've had problems getting an Uber from Disney Springs too. They went to Cirque when we were waiting somewhere different. That must be where they all head to pick up even if that's not where you requested it from.
I dont care for this mainly because it's after 4pm everyone who has gone to a park is there or leaving, not providing transportation both ways only makes problems making it hard to have that magical vacation you saved for and hard for the cast to provide the service you expect and strive to provide. #minirant

2:38 That wood that needs a screw looks very rotten and a screw might not hold it. The zip ties may be a very temporary fix until they can replace the wood with a new one. Replacement would take longer requiring many vertical fence pieces to be reattached to it as well.
Completely agreed about the Transportation. We stayed in I-Drive so got the lynx busses to Disney (Took about an hour) & they dropped us off at TTC (Ticket & Transportation Centre) to then be told we had to get either the ferry or monorail over to Magic Kingdom to get to any park/resort/Springs.... Which was very annoying since you'd expect to be able to get Disney busses from TTC.

That guy with the harp was incredible! Look at that technique. I'd like to try and learn how to play the harp one day. On a side note, it would also be really funny if that is not actually a harp and is some more exotic instrument that just looks like one, but I'm pretty sure it is actually a harp. Lol. It's really pretty too with the nice floral design.
Tim, the advantage to the passholder line is that the people using it tend to know what they are doing so it moves quicker than other lines. Of course, if there is an empty turnstyle, use it. :)

Every issue you had with transport I've had 😂 we had an uber driver who said they'll only pick up at cirque but if he didn't say we would be stuck. Also it's so annoying direct busses don't run to and from Disney springs to all major destinations

They're not gonna change the bus policy, because they don't want people parking at Downtown Disney and then going to the parks for free parking. It's been that way for a long time. However, Disney did recently introduce a one-way bus that takes you from the theme parks to Disney Springs after 4 P.M. So there are buses that connect from the theme parks to Disney Springs, except they are one way. Basically, Disney wants people to be at the parks during the day and then if you want you can go to Disney Springs at night. Like you said, if you did want to go to a theme park, you would have to take a bus to any Disney resort and then afterwards go to the parks.
we relied on the Disney buses last year. one time we needed to get back to the T&T centre but the monorail was out so everyone was cramming onto the boat from Magic Kingdom. It took so long to get there we had to run with all our shopping bags in the heat (we're British, we don't cope well with heat) to our coach and made it with seconds to spare.
Dang! we were at animal Kingdom on Sunday as well and didn't see you there. the whole eight days we were there we kept missing you. Of course the day at the same park and missed ya. Ding Dang!

The reason they don't have buses from disney springs to the parks is because, disney springs has free parking and people could bypass the parking fee for the parks by parking at disney springs then hop on a bus to the parks for free.

Tim. When you are over by universal studios, take a 5-10 min trip to teak neighborhood grill... ask for the underground menu and you will have the best burgers the area has to offer!

oh yes Tim...it's unfortunate that you didn't know about the very easy walk to Saratoga! I do agree however, I rented a car for my trip last week and it was much quicker getting from park to park than taking the bus. Only exception was Magic Kingdom as we had to park at ticket and transportation...
i think transportation at disney world is amazing. I was stuck out at a resort place after closing and all the buses were starting to shut down and we couldn't get back to the car that was at downtown disney. 1 bus driver completely went out of his way to pick me and my brother up and change the direction of were he was heading so we were able to get back to the car. The service at disney world is far to none. amazing people at disney world. we gave the guy a huge tip for getting us back from the resort to downtown disney . After we went from downtown disney to Epcot.
Man they got live music everywhere at DSprings now. Yeah we drive everywhere we go at Disney. We will take a boat from resorts to DSprings or the monorail but buses are terrible. When we planed our trip in June we had no idea that Avatar would be open. Bonus!!! (I think or it could be crowded)
love the transportation that disney do, coming from abroad it saves on car hire and all the extra charges in parking. we was going to stop at Caribbean beach resort (mid sept 2017) after doing port orleans twice before; but due to building upgrades and changes from may onwards at the Caribbean beach, we got offered port orleans. I'd Rather not have building work, so we chose that option. we dont mind, we love yehaa bob and the transportation boats to disney springs :D

We were told by a couple of different Uber drivers that they're required to go to Strawberry Lot, over by Cirque. They're supposedly not allowed to pick up at other lots.

Too many people take advantage of free parking at DS for Disney to want to add park bus service from there. That is honestly why they make it a bit harder to get back to the parks.
Tim: The dragon head on the far left hut at the entrance to Animal Kingdom, and the dragon at the bottom of the Animal Kingdom sign will always stay for a memory to what was going to be Beastly Kingdom.

oh yes Tim...it's unfortunate that you didn't know about the very easy walk to Saratoga! I do agree however, I rented a car for my trip last week and it was much quicker getting from park to park than taking the bus. Only exception was Magic Kingdom as we had to park at ticket and transportation...

i think transportation at disney world is amazing. I was stuck out at a resort place after closing and all the buses were starting to shut down and we couldn't get back to the car that was at downtown disney. 1 bus driver completely went out of his way to pick me and my brother up and change the direction of were he was heading so we were able to get back to the car. The service at disney world is far to none. amazing people at disney world. we gave the guy a huge tip for getting us back from the resort to downtown disney . After we went from downtown disney to Epcot.
i was there when the view is getting filmed along with a band was getting a music video there too.

Man they got live music everywhere at DSprings now. Yeah we drive everywhere we go at Disney. We will take a boat from resorts to DSprings or the monorail but buses are terrible. When we planed our trip in June we had no idea that Avatar would be open. Bonus!!! (I think or it could be crowded)
love the transportation that disney do, coming from abroad it saves on car hire and all the extra charges in parking. we was going to stop at Caribbean beach resort (mid sept 2017) after doing port orleans twice before; but due to building upgrades and changes from may onwards at the Caribbean beach, we got offered port orleans. I'd Rather not have building work, so we chose that option. we dont mind, we love yehaa bob and the transportation boats to disney springs :D

We were told by a couple of different Uber drivers that they're required to go to Strawberry Lot, over by Cirque. They're supposedly not allowed to pick up at other lots.
Ill be heading to Disney at the end of April....I used to live in Ocala....my brother lives in Davenport and he works for Disney....so we get in 4 free.....its been a long time since I been there

Hey Tim, have you ever actually vlogged the Cirque du Soleil show in Disney Springs? I've never seen it in any of your videos.
Too many people take advantage of free parking at DS for Disney to want to add park bus service from there. That is honestly why they make it a bit harder to get back to the parks.
Tim: The dragon head on the far left hut at the entrance to Animal Kingdom, and the dragon at the bottom of the Animal Kingdom sign will always stay for a memory to what was going to be Beastly Kingdom.
