Thanks for covering this one, part of an underrated series, plus its sometimes nice to watch a playthrough WITHOUT some guys face in the corner of the screen the whole time. 😺
it's a cool game, but it also SUCKS as soon as the zombies appear on deck 2...impossible for me to "kill" them all to get further...it's totally frustrating to be stuck in front of a impenetrable wall of strong agressive zombies...I need a cheat!
Anyone else confused as to why THIS isnt Dead Island 2? Because it IS a direct sequel to the first one, and the ACTUAL Dead Island 2 came out years later, with different characters, and a different source of zombies.
@@codarik2128 interesting, didn't know that, thanks, still kinda weird that they couldn't just call the new one " Dead Island 3 " or something, although the first game is barely cannon anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
While I agree it's underrated, there's a fair bit of missions that only serve to pad the length of the game, like getting the water pump in order to enter the tunnel.
After about 4 hours, you started dying too much unnecessarily and played extremely carelessly to the point where I started getting a little annoyed... LoL. Also, are you not using headphones? Otherwise, nice playthrough.
A good game that turned into a repetitive show, I got bored of it, honestly, the premise of the game was excellent but then those "boss" moments and other things just got ride of the immersive aspect of the game and turned it into a repetitive game. What a waste of ideas and resources.
Yeah, and some missions kinda feel like padding, like needing to get the water pump in order to enter the tunnel, however I think the ratio of special infected was a little better in this one, whereas the first game mostly had Thugs and Rams.
Weird question, but am I the only one who noticed that Marvin's plan is basically the same as what happens in " Shuan of the dead "? Just with a movie theater instead of a pub?

How did you play the original version on the series x?? I assume the disk is somehow compatible?
