Always a great day when you spot deer on the ride. Looked like a fun and chill day out. ✌🏼🤟🏼

I was shocked to see a deer so close to the city. This was a very chill ride. 🤙🏻

Awesome! I really appreciate you sharing an easier trail for those just starting out and for kids wanting to get into mountain biking. For some reason, many TH-cam mtn bike videos always want to highlight tough trails. Most riding out there are beginner and intermediate riders these days, especially since Covid. Thanks again!

Thank you! Perfect vid. That downhill is intense when no one is hiking up. Now I know how to get back to Schabarum Park once I'm at the bottom. Gonna do this ride from Schabarum soon.

Great video! I grew up in La Habra Heights and first rode those trails in 1995. My parents still live there and I rode it about two weeks ago. It’s more fun to climb purple sage and and come down skyline (reverse the first part of the ride from the video). There’s a lot of single-track in the park if you know where to look. Mostly intermediate, but there is an old school ridge line single track that is double black (maybe triple, is that a thing?) that was cut for a mountain bike race in the late eighties. Somebody brushed it recently. This is one of the few areas that the MTB Project Trail maps are better than Trail Forks. Although neither are complete. Lots of rattlesnakes, but I guess that’s all of SoCal this time of year.
    Enjoy!

Thanks bro! I will definitely check out the other trail systems in the area. 🤙🏻

Where’s that single track you’re talking about?

That’s my backyard trail, is it the one all the way up by the antennas that connects to skyline going down towards schabarum??

Nice video, this is near me. Is there a lot of foot traffic? Hikers, etc..

Thanks brotha! It’s not too bad with the hikers because it’s a fire road. It doesn’t stop your momentum. 🤙🏻

This was definitely a hard climb. I had to hike a bike a few time.
