I think you passed by Penguin Classics, the orange editions they put out. I would look out for those. Lots of books that end up in thrift stores, meant they aren't essentially not a classic. Those HP series books, I think the owner found a better edition/cover to collect. Sigh.

I don't know if this is a Portland Goodwill, but it looks like one. I know the one on 6th and Salmon has a selection this large. The caveat is that everything is way overpriced
