I might be the only one here that doesn’t care or mind the subscription fee. It actually makes sense for the new car market and used car market 😅 i might be the only one who sees it as a positive. They give you a option to buy it for lifetime if you want it that bad without subscription and it suffices for people who only keeps the car 3 maybe 4 years. The pricing actually ends out cheaper on the subscription side and its about the same if you keep the car for lifetime (which most don’t)
Hey, they can also charge you monthly for the subscription box where you get one random car feature or part a month to use that shows up at your door step to enjoy. They do it with dog toys, why not car parts and features?

I used one today at my local BMW dealer. parked car and checked in using kiosk and left. Not one human approach, hi, bye or thank you. So sad. Human touch is lost. I don't think I'll go back to be honest, such a depressing experience (expect higher for BMW).

You guys are terrible, if you want to make more money or your wanting to only make one set of seats and not 2 then make the baseline model cost a little more and have the heated seats. If you get your way, this will be in a ton of other countries and you will add this to a sunroof and lord knows what else. A subscription service for heated seats or anything else on your car is extremely stupid.

One dirty marketing/sales trick for any brand is to make the potential customer feel they are not good enough for them ...i.e the snooty female voice over on this advert, and the underlaying message of 'you come so far to buy a BMW yet you cant afford our over priced wipers/accesories??' ... That's how they get you to cough up, and what is worse is there is an alarming number of bmw owners who support this thing, it is almost like Stockholm syndrome...
As long as I don't have to pay a monthly fee to get my heated seats I already payed for, I really like this..
