The way of seeing Mumbai needs to be this! The cinematographer is an absolute legend. It is also noteworthy that Dharavi is not shown to earn some brownie points from the National Geographic Channel or some human activists. The highlight of Mumbai must be the hustle, the scale and the growth: which is unparalleled to any city which the world has ever seen.
Mumbai, I belive , is completely developed now. Only thing remaining is to scrap off all those slums and teach all those living in these areas about etiquettes . Make them literate and provide them atleast a basic pucca house in a liveable area, including enough food & water and free basic health facilities. They should me made capable of atleast be able to work as labours and workers.
Well, we want to see Marine drive & Nariman point to be like Manhattan or Pudong. But those small old buildings really suck Mumbai's best sea coastal area.
I think it's request building's can't justify any country's growth. We have to remove our slums and give people better accommodation. Lets us metropolitan citizens take charge of cleaning our cities.

The central government is too busy developing Gujarat and UP while the state has stagnated important projects. What this mean is china's 9.7% growth is equivalent to 25% of its GDP and India's 6% growth is equivalent to 9.2% of GDP. I know there is definitely some economics there. Please tell me about it if you know.

Mumbai, I belive , is completely developed now. Only thing remaining is to scrap off all those slums and teach all those living in these areas about etiquettes . Make them literate and provide them atleast a basic pucca house in a liveable area, including enough food & water and free basic health facilities. They should me made capable of atleast be able to work as labours and workers.

We must remember that Dharavi's contribution in our gdp is around 1 billion USD.

Its geographical location, the proximity to port and historical industrial establishments make it the financial capital. It’s not our fault that other cities aren’t catching up although many companies are preferring others because neither the central or state government are giving a shit about the issues regarding good infrastructure and office space, that’s why Mumbai lost its edge in the aviation sector for example. The central government is too busy developing Gujarat and UP while the state has stagnated important projects. If this goes on Mumbai is at the threat of becoming like Detroit, a dead city with once having a huge influence.

how was china being able to add more than 1 trillion dollar to its GDP in 2008(3.6tr dollar to 4.6 trillion) even though its GDP growth was 9.7%. I mean 9.7% of 3.6 is something around 350 billion dollar. And according to imf India will add about 300 billion dollar to its GDP(currently 3.7 trillion)with 6% growth. What this mean is china's 9.7% growth is equivalent to 25% of its GDP and India's 6% growth is equivalent to 9.2% of GDP. I know there is definitely some economics there. Please tell me about it if you know.
