Mumbai's public transport is very good and in terms of roads, a lot of road work is going on in Mumbai. Mumbai has natural limitations for roads because Mumbai is a coastal city so it is difficult to make the width and length of roads like Delhi

@@ummok4617 Mumbai's roads have relatively improved a lot after a few key projects. What we can take from Delhi is the Metro connectivity. More metro will automatically take load of the local trains, and maybe then we can have AC locals with automatic doors.
Delhi currently has 400 kms of metro, Mumbai has about 50 kms. Hopefully with the under construction lines, Mumbai will have 150 kms of metro in another 2 years.

It is not possible, considering the height restrictions given by the AAI. This isn't a stupid move, as planes need space to land.
And further, I will not agree that there is a positive correlation between vertical buildings and overall development indicators. Take Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and New Zealand as examples; no supertall building will be recognised, yet they are way ahead of us in all parameters, including healthcare, education and GNI per capita. What would be required for Mumbai would be proper urban planning, redevelopment of slums, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the Mumbai Redevelopment Authority had dried up all public funds to themselves, which is why the world is laughing at us.

Someone should plan the tower construction well rather than raising towers from anywhere. It looks good tho, but I wish when seeing from above our cities should look deciplined as well. I know Mumbai is a old city and planning now won't help. Actually, I just wish that how Chinese people do construction by removing unwanted old structures and houses and built new towers in that area makes the city looks modern.

Honest speaking, 95% MBA students in IIM get job in Mumbai. But, If you get a job of 4- 5 LPA in IT or other corporate field, Kolkata is damn better than Mumbai. Why? You can't even find a good hostel in that salary in Mumbai, forget about skyscrapers. While, in Kolkata, Salt Lake's street food is cheapest, and best. You can find affordable rooms. Also, Kolkata's salt lake is not far from Esplanade, park street. . While, in Mumbai, you may be relocated in navi mumbai, don't think about south Mumbai or juhu, andheri. Yes, both Kolkata & Mumbai is not good for IT. Mumbai's skyline is best because, it's also best in real estate business. All financial capitals in world has highest skyscraper among their country.
So, only if you got 10+ lpa in MBA, field, or Want to be actor, model, or want to start real estate, then only come to Mumbai. Otherwise, if you got less than 7 LPA job, Kolkata can give you best lifestyle . Yes, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon are better than Kolkata for job, but, same thing, those are not good for less salaried workers
Mumbai is known for finance in the world & kolkata known for sc@m call center ask any international people's also safety & living Lifestyle in mumbai much better in mumbai MBA you get a job in multinational company or in Kolkata you get call center jobs you get better paid but sc@ming people's not good human being so far
