Conor is one of the best ever to sell a fight, but I was surprised @ how personal he got with family and country. It seemed odd, out of place, and strange for a UFC press conference.
Maybe Conor thought it’d be more believable than the tired and same old “fight promotion”, but I understand why Khabib took that stuff personally. It’s hard to argue because the fight was such a huge commercial success, but I think Conor learned a lesson outside the octagon too.
