@@malcolmrowe9003 Yeah totally. Most of the time they do that during lineout, but anytime is fine. And it's better to be more than one doing the lifting, for the reasons demonstrated in this video :p
Every time someone throws that O'Driscoll one into a mix my first thought is always... That's obstruction and a penalty every day of the week. Must have been before they had a TMO I guess.

I've seen this video more than I can remember and love it every damn time. However... Every time I see a through the legs pass, I cringe. Some awareness, sure, "impossible skill"? I think as a rugby community we should stop idolising that move, it's just not that special. Especially when you look at those passes by Finn Russel and Danni Cipriani where the ball seems to hang in space forever for a teammate to perfectly run onto it. In my view, that's magic!

they cant tackle the guy that is holding him up because he doesnt have the ball
If someone had tackled beast at that moment, they would probably face a life ban.
