I love this so much! I just got this watch after being a Bond fan for the last 18 years (I’m 23 currently). I started with Timex, then to G-Shock, then Victorinox and Hamilton, then a Longines, then this same Omega. I look at my wrist when wearing it and still cannot believe that I own this watch.
Great video! Made a big smile on my face because we have so much in common and remembered my childhood. Every xmas, every formal event for me was the perfect opportunity to dress and be like Bond :').. My dad gave me Goldeneye 64 on my birthday and made me a fan! I love that game and when I saw the movie I was so excited and amazed to see the "missions" in real life, I adore the movie since then. Me too the 1st 007 movie I saw at the theater was D.A.D. and also got Nightfire that year. This and Goldeneye are my favorite games. I hope to own an Omega Bond watch soon. Cheers! :D
Great job man, love this video because your journey is very similar to mine, I started watching Bond when I was 5 and grew up wanting to be James Bond and the watch was part of that. Finally got my very own omega seamaster a few year ago as a wedding gift from my wife. So not only did I get to marry the most wonderful person she also made one of my dreams come true.
Honestly as much as I love this one, I think I’d rather go with the most recent version as it’s protected from magnetism and if you travel a lot and go through metal detectors a lot, that’s going to be a nice benefit

@7:00 there is only one bond watch, which is the watch Fleming intended. The Rolex Explorer. Everything else is a commercial transaction in often tacky product placements. The fact that you think the SMP is the quintessential bond watch is testament to how good Omega's marketing has been in their product placement to fool the masses.
