Oh, my goodness, I absolutely ADORED this video. It was like being right there! Goldeneye is MOST DEFINITELY on my places-to-visit-as-soon-as-this-pandemic-is-over list.
Beautiful accommodations! The view is stunning! That outdoor shower is calling my name😂. John told me about his swim to the spa! Happy you had a chance to hang out together in paradise❤️
Ive been to one of its sister-resorts The Caves. These are unique and wonderful resorts to stay at. Once in a lifetime experiences. I hope to do the double of Goldeneye-Strawberry hill or Goldeneye-The Caves in the next few years...
Great Job David!!! I watch every single video since you started. This is a bond fans dream. And we got you, to keep it all alive awesome videos keep them coming thank you!!!
I miss Goldeneye. I swam to your lagoon several times David whilst it was being built. I also think they’re missing a trick not having a cardboard cut out of Tanner with a clipboard by the pull up bar.
Great video as usual David. Just an idea but could you post links to some of the things you are wearing? Cap, spectacles, T-shirt etc… You are living the Bond life which means your own style will be similar/influenced. I think some of your followers would be keen on the DZ style!
Interesting video and looking forward to such an elaborate viewing of Ian Fleming's villa "Goldeneye"... which for most visitors had a Spartan look & feel as there was no glass in the large open windows, no amenities such as air conditioning nor hot water and lots of nightly noise from natural sources such as frogs, crickets, moths, fireflies and beetles. Of course Fleming fell in love with Oracabessa coast (Goldenhead in Spanish) and wanted a quiet place where the birds could fly in & out, at walking distance from the ocean shore. An experience of Jamaica's natural world he described in the "Where Shall John Go" article in Cyril Connolly's Horizon magazine number 96 in December 1947. Visiting Goldeneye, did David Zaritsky take a detailed look at the photographs on the walls, the books on the shelves (e.g. 1947 edition of Field Guide to Birds of the West Indies), the shutters with jalousies, and point out all the references to the British Royal Navy... Ego Expecto !
Is GoldenEye open to outside visitors who want to stop by real quick and just check out the lobby & rock pier where you can see Ian Fleming's house from? Wasn't sure what the best way to do a quick visit would be, while we are staying in nearby Ocho Rios. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you
damn this is better than HGTV, have to have a james bond meet up there, i was wondering how much would it be a week, month or year, living situation has to be alot, man its great, so fleming, and if you visited there you have to wear a hawaian shirt, thats the law lol, but for anyone who lived there, how much, and difficulties with anything, and how many days did you stay there what are some of the activities, and what does day to day look like.
Wonderful! Thanks David.
thanks for taking us with you to these awesome Bond destinations!

OMG WHERE IS THAT? I was looking for the perfect paradise for my 40th birthday and I think I have found it!
Wouldn't mind working out there, it looks absolutely stunning. Great video to watch for some escapism of the cold weather here in the Netherlands.
no Austrian Stiegl in Jamaica? ;) great content as always David!
David start talking about the Omega Planet Ocean again, you’ve been slacking on that watch lately!
Wow David that looks so beautiful. Definitely on my bucket list to visit but I'm afraid I wouldn't want to leave! Thanks for taking us through it all!

Where bond comes to relax after the sheer violence of being an assassin
Hi David - greetings from the frosty UK (not at all jealous) - it’s killing me but i can’t place the shirt - is that worn by Felix? Thanks
nice karmacula shirt that's the one u got in Jamaica last time right for no time to die?

I almost stayed at a place similar one time, until the saw a swarm of insects around the sink.
Price per night?
Great vid
you should just buy the Jamaica house or live there for the rest of your life :)
Someone should write a Twilight Zone episode where David is stuck in a world where James Bond doesn't exist. The suffering would be unbearable.
Can normal people visit?
What's the difference between beach hut life and lagoon villa life? Answer: $$
