I'll be 60 years old this November, and from the ages of 15 to 40 I was a diehard headbanging metalhead who's favorite band was Slayer. I can't even remember why or recall the series of events and life changes that led me to gradually bow out of metal fandom. I should say, I still love the bands and music, but just don't listen to a lot of music in general anymore. Having said all that, for whatever reason I felt nostalgic several minutes ago, and searched "heaviest metal songs". This band Candlemass was at the top of the list. I have to say, I am fucking impressed, and I have a feeling Candlemass is going to be the catalyst tonight that takes that little spark of reemerging interest in metal stirring in me and blows it up into a 1000 megaton nuclear explosion!! I suppose I could have just said "These guys kick ass!" 😂. I am bored AF. ^^^'True story, though.
Glad that Johan stopped Sorcerer's Pledge to have the guitarist tune his guitar 😆 I was thinking wait hes gonna start the song with that string out of tune? Johan still sounds great!

Tbh Johan was always the better musician. Messiah was a great vocalist but he couldn't last and here's the OG vocalist pulling off his songs.
