Do you always hire team members with dental experience?

I just got hired as a dental receptionist! Im so nervous, BUT on my paid training day pts actually commented that I have a beautiful voice! The computer stuff is what scares me the most.

I’ve found dental receptionist’s are much friendlier than medical receptionist’s. Better training maybe? Don’t know 😐

For me, personality and willingness to learn are everything! Skills can be trained. We routinely hire receptionists with no dental experience at all and they tend to do amazingly well if they have the right attitude. I think your chances are great!!!
