It was quite an idyllic place for kids then: very safe and healthy, beautiful places to swim in summer and to go sledding in winter, etc. "A Tongue in the Sink: The Harrowing Adventures of a Baby Boomer Childhood." The Cats can be seen the entire length of Main Street and more, very beautiful each one unique. I was there from June until September and they are very visible . I took pictures of them all .

I think there's a book that gives clues where to find it. I remember hearing about it in the late 70's early 80's. I used to live in Catskill and Cairo for many years. That pin in in them thar mountains!! LoL
