A DHCP Server is a network server that automatically provides and assigns IP addresses, default gateways and other network parameters to client devices. The Internet Router does not give IP address to any devices , the IP address may be assigned manually (if you know your local IP address network like subnet, gateway, dns) or get the IP address through DHCP Server. The Home router given to the end user is built in with DHCP server.
That's correct. In the US, ISP provides modem only separately, but here in the Philippines, modem and router is built in one device with DHCP server settings inside. A modem connects you to the Internet. While a router connects your devices to your home network (LAN).We can set local IP addresses of devices static or dynamic. Hindi parepareho ang kulay ng lahat ng network device, meron green, orange at amber. But typically, it means network status/connection and network activity.
Generally, pag walang ilaw it means NO CONNECTION, Pag blinking orange LED it means may data transmission tx/rx (transmit and receive). Pag blinking green LED naman, it means intermittent or there is network negotiation. So, better kung solid green led. Hindi lahat ng brand and model ay pareho ang behavior ng mga ilaw. Sana nasagot ko tanong mo.

Don't Be misled by wifi password, dvr/nvr device password, and DMSS application password. Dapat yung mobile phone mo at DVR ay connected sa same router. So, regarding your question saan dapat i input ang newly created wifi password ng router, the answer is sa phone mo para connected ang phone mo sa router and Network at the same time.Para mas mabigyan kita ng time para mas malalim ang paliwanag ko, point by point, ay malapit ko na i launch yung CHANNEL MEMBERSHIP, sana mag JOIN ka.Marami kang matutunan.

Dapat may charge controller, para stable ang pasok ng current. At mas maganda may inverter, para magamit mo pa rin ang mga DC power supply, rated kasi, Pag rekta sa battery baka masira ang cctv system mo pag na degrade na ang battery, baka hindi ka magkaroon ng output na stable 12 volts.

Meron sir, pag dhcp disabled na, sa Network settings ng dvr, yung default IP address ng DVR/NVR ay editable as well as gateway, just click the 🖊️ pencil Icon.
After ko I click ang TEST Sabi check Ip Address and Gateway and network cable connection. Kasi po chinage ko yung WiFi password namin kc ang daming kumokonnect. Please help po!
Its true na pag marami wireless devices na naka connect sa wifi router nyo, ay posible maapektuhan ang internet speed and bandwidth. Pero dahil meron dhcp server sa router ay naiiwasan ang IP address conflict ng mga devices. Check your physical connection din.

When your computer is connected to the wifi, look for network adapter properties, there you will find the IP address. Also if your mobile phone is connected to the same wifi, go to SETTINGS then ABOUT PHONE, then look for STATUS, there you'll find IP address.

If all settings are correct, internet bill is up to date, network hardware are in good condition, its possible that dvr's lan port is (maybe) defective, Consider updating the dvr firmware, but if to no avail. Consider replacing the dvr. Dahua brand para well guided ka sa tutorials ko. Nangyari na yan sa client ko.
try mo e update ang firmware or e reprogram mo DVR using SSL or putty via computer or laptop
Try, hard resetting your dvr first. Start with default setting (out of the box state) Then reconfigure one by one. Good luck.
If you run out of options, you may try reprogramming but this is a gamble (maybe) risky move. Because not all are very familiar with this. You might end up toasting your dvr. Before doing that, try rechecking your settings, you might missed out something. This internet connectivity thing is not a very serious problem. If no luck, you can send your dvr to me, let me do the setting for you. Or if possible, I can visit your dvr personally.

Yes, kaya dapat ingatan nyo QR code para hindi ma compromise ang privacy nyo. Kasi yung QR code and serial # ay pwede talaga makuha ng not just installer but also other people by taking picture. Para hindi nila ma access, make sure you change the password of ADMIN account as well as USERS acct. Or better delete all other users account and create your own new account and password para ikaw lang ang makaka access. Make sure you do not forget the newly created password. Sanay nakatulong ito sa yo.

Yes, possible talaga ma hack, kaya never share the qr code of your DVR, it is actually the unique serial # of your recorder. The solution, para hindi ma hack, create a strong password for every users including admin, and never share . Change password from time to time. Don't just throw away the box because the serial#/qr code ay naka print sa box, kaya better itago ang box, or sunugin (pwede) or gupitin ang box para hindi na mabasa ang qr code/serial #, pati box ng camera, ganun din ang gawin. Regarding audio, sa settings lang yan.

Yung sa amin kapag nawawala internet at wifi wala ring silbi yung cctv namin na may audio kaya kailangan ulit iconnect. Di maiwanan kasi nagiging walang silbi. Ano pwedeng gawin para hindi na po iconnect kapag nawalan ng kuryente gaya nung mga kasamang cctv na walang audio?
1st of all, kung may record pa, may silbi pa cctv nyo, madam. Parang yung dvr nyo ay old non cloud using IP address para maka connect sa net at makita sa cellphone remotely. Payo ko po, palitan nyo ng Dahua brand cloud dvr na gumagamit ng serial # or ID para pagkatapos ng brownout makikita pa rin remotely. Sana tama ang hula ko sa situation nyo.

Meron wifi ang dvr mo? if thats the case, I recommend direct cable connection, Lan (utp cat5e)cable for better and stable connection for your dvr.

If I understand your question right, ang DVR ay hindi nagbibigay ng internet.

Im not sure, but try to look for hard reset button or pins if any on the recorder board. You may also try the password recovery security question approach or the via email password recovery option if available.
Worst case scenario, contact your manufacturer or reseller for technical support. If not, consider buying a new Dahua Nvr or Dvr. Surely, that will solve your problem.
Sir yun sa akin is umaandar lng ng ilang minuto simula ng naka on sya tapos mag offline ulit, na try ko na e restore to default, nag okay lng ng ilang minuto tapos offline na ulit.
Always double check your dvr's IP address if it's in the same range and sequence with your router. Also check your lan cable physical connection.

If you're using cloud dvr/nvr, use the GID/serial# approach, instead of IP address.

By-pass muna ang mesh, rekta muna sa router yung nvr.
