I love how both sides of her body are made out as two distinct personalities despite their similar appearance. The rear is more tribal and enigmatic and grotesque, while the front is modern and brutal. There was literally a point of the dance that the front side did the “suck it” gesture and then proceeded to twerk like tgere was no tomorrow. The duality of man everyone...

It really didn't look like it was her front, though. At least not to me. That said, the downvotes are probably for the second half of the routine, which was quite sloppy and almost embarrassing to watch, especially coupled with the awful music. I didn't downvote the video, though.
Yeah the second half of the routine wasnt great but I really loved the first part. Still going to give her a like.

@@midnightxii4996 I agree. Nothing complex going on here, anyone can do that so long as they have a couple masks. In fact, the routine was seemingly lazy in my opinion. But I think this was just her having fun not necessarily meant to be some epic performance.. at least I hope not anyway.
The lightening is amazing too. The shadowplay in the mask brings everything together and makes it look like it changes expression for that last push into the uncanny valley
“Uncanny valley” is exactly what I was thinking, too. I was viscerally uncomfortable, like when you’re watching something impossible happen. I couldn’t look away! Absolutely incredible.

I am simply humbled by the obvious fact that this performer has established hemispheric synchronicity. Having conscious awareness of frontal movement and stable conscious movement of her reverse side in a manner or illusion of coherence. Absolutely mesmerizing performance!

Samank Pol hip hop arms? You mean because they used isolation and a little undulation? News flash. Isolation and undulating is what belly dancing is about when it comes to the arms. They just did it faster, but they literally used a belly dance technique. It’s not just a hip hop thing. I get if you didn’t like it but at least know that that wasn’t a “hip hop” thing in this context even though both genres of dance have these moves.
Read the heading: Tribal FUSION. Now look up the word "fusion"...

This is one of the most mesmerizing dances I've ever seen..can feel it taking place in an Arabian palace or upon a cliff o persueing a vast canyon or deep in the cave cities....connects as many of these dances do for me ..connects somewhere very deep down and very long ago...luv it ..such talent ..I also feel my body moving in such ways and I could easily go into trance...

I think it would have been so cool to see her build a second set of busts on her back as a prop; as well and maybe some body paint to indicate a false bell button and you would have the dancer that seemingly never turns her back to the audience.

I was part of the Bellydance community as an instructor and dancer. I also danced for a famous show on TV that plays on telemundo every Saturday. But, this woman has come a long way. She was a natural from the beginning.
