It’s not even one percent related with what those mantras say. It’s a shame to use vedic mantras showing gratitude towards goddess Lakshmi for such seduction.
THIS is what I needed in my life...after feeling depressed (and not being able to figure out why), my soul lately called me to bellydance. Watching this performance and copying it to the best of my ability made me feel sexy, like a woman again, reclaiming the inner feminine. It's been buried too long. This is what I call a resurrection. Thank you for reminding me of who I am and for unleashing what was lost within me.

Colonization removed the real name and coined it bellydancing. Keep finding your joy. I always encourage that but learn it for real not a western rip off of the dance. Some people are not aware that it's a form of worship so know the difference. It's an African dance, period.

Вы прсвяшяете богам танец также как это делали храмовые танцовщиця, танцуете с ттрешенными и в тоже время напрябенновдозновенными лицами.. Почитайте книгу Михаила Ефремрва Таис АФИНСКСЯ (любовница гетера Македонского - там немного описывают я танцы и сам образ жизни храмовые танцовщиц.очень рекомендую, если вы не читали.. А сами вы откуда? Привет из Самары.. (отрешенне и рапряенноэмоционо лицами - класс-так и должно быть,, так как танец посвящён Бога, а не людям.. Так держать..

It really does transport your soul to a long ago time; feels like ancestors are trying to make you remember something you once knew.
But how is it 'tribal' though? Seems like a new-age Indian Hippie dance. Which is perfectly fine and a mish mash of middle-east belly dance, trance music, futuristic punk styling, temple backdops, and modern 'eastern' pop spiritualism. Its a modern culture unique to certain groups and I see no issue with that. Just feels cringe when they try to project their own stuff as xyz culture (which are themselves vague and generalized half the time).
This intoxicating music and these god-like woman working transforming. HOLY! 💜💗❤👁🗨

Amazingly beautiful, spiritual, performance, the locales and costumes and movements make me think of what might have been in ancient times, like Minoan (I'm so into Minoans :) )and of course India and the Middle East, worshiping the Goddess. Dance is our birthright, for all humans, It's about the Joy, not just a spectator sport and should be open to all who choose to embrace it. I dance a lot of styles. I don't worry about "perfect" and who's watching, I concentrate on the Joy and hope others feel it too. You're all absolutely beautiful!

African culture is not so different from Vedic philosophy....If you remove the language barriers..Then nature worship, elements, deities, polytheistic, ancestors as spiritual guides, shamanisn etc, is no different to Vedic tribal concepts..It's Abrahmic faiths which have des troyed the true essence of Africa. For example, lord Shiva is known to keep dredlocks, matted hair...This is no new to many Rastafarians

Not Lalitha but Godess Lakshmi in Sanatan Dharma in India which world call Hinduism in modern term n song is in sanskrit which is our heritage language...
