I'd recommend using a radial symmetry brush, setting the number of rays to the number of petals you want, and drawing a straight line out. _Then_ do what's in the video, using the rays as a guide both for the original petal's initial and second position. This will help you avoid the first and last petals having wonky spacing. (I know that this step isn't necessary for a video demonstration, this is just advice for anyone watching who might want to use this trick)
That’s why they have tons of tutorials and also classes on how to use Photoshop. Adobe is professionally used software so it’s not supposed to be something you can easily learn in a couple days
I learned this in my Photoshop class but I also took some CAD classes and I wish Adobe could implement an array tool to make circular and polar arrays, that would make life much easier
You can do the same thing in coreldraw, just select the picture, click it again, do the same steps in this video and in the final part, use Ctrl + R and it will do tge exat same thing
First go like this Spin around, STOP! Double take three times One, two, three Then, pelvic thrust! Stop on your right foot, DON’T FORGET IT! Now it’s time to bring it around town! Bring it around town! Then you do this, and this, then this, then that, then this and that and this and that
man.. i had an adobe class in school (completing the class gives you a reward) and we had to do this. i literally just copy and pasted because i didnt watch the attached video 😭 still got my certificate and reward
Why am i taking this advice even though i don't have photoshop 💀
Ong me too
I use procreate which pixelates when an object is turned so idk why I'm here either
Nah same bro
For fun
same
This is extremely helpful! Thank you!

Great and useful. Though I still would place the pedals myself to give it a more organic look.
why not just use this then move a couple to make it look more natural? would be a lot quicker
@@alexnotlando everybody don't have brains 🧠😜

Not to be that guy but… petals**
You could use this to make a guide, then draw over them
Photoshop is adopting so many illustrator features and I’m living for it

Radial symmetry brush. Got it.
Its nice they made a hotkey combo for an octopus

"It's gonna take ages!!" Me, a traditional artist who has to *actually draw* each one: ;-;
Same
I've been drawing for nearly 10 years. I never used this trick.
Traditional art is a very difficult craft and I have a lot of respect for people who use the medium. Keep being awesome!
Just throw some bangs over it, itll be fiiine *sobs*
I've done both & traditional art is easier and faster for me, but then I've done a hell of a lot more of it 😅
Couldn't have come to know Ctrl+Alt+shift+T had this.
Welcome to Adobe 😅
Quite the long shortcut
Dude enters a cheatcode to use photoshop
For Illustrator:- Ctrl + D
For Photoshop:- Ctrl + alt + shift + t
As an octopus, i used this many times
CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+T brilliant discoverability, Adobe! no wonder nobody knows about this........

As someone who has never owned Photoshop this is very helpful indeed.
Very useful. Note that it doesn't work with smart object.
What does
Extremely beneficial video i was finding this thing for months
Thank you so much for the tip! I can use it in my graphic design class
Oh my gosh, i knew it from illustrator but why the heck i didn't know it works for ps 😆 Thank u so much🔥
I learned this in my Photoshop class but I also took some CAD classes and I wish Adobe could implement an array tool to make circular and polar arrays, that would make life much easier
In this artstyle I really wouldn’t recommend using a uniform distance and layering but it’s still good to know
I really like this new short format! It makes it much easier to learn
Thank you, I was searching for this! Ctrl+D in illustrator is so much easier.
Dude.. I owe you a tuition! You improve my Photoshop skills every day 👏🏻🤣
Thank you for this info, now time to hold it with me forever because I don’t have photoshop
He's Really Helpful!
This is so useful oh my god you have saved me hours of work thank you thank you THANK YOU
I think you just saved me a crap ton of time. Thank you! 💙
Can't use that.
I love you piximperfect, this is so useful!
Bro hates our hands 💀
And some how watching that was kinda satisfying how it so smoothly was put together 😮
I'm saving those kinds of shorts to a playlist called "photoshop", just for in case if I need it in the future.
Traditional artists drawing each petal individually: 😢
Noooo!!! I needed this advice a week agooo!!! Thank you anywayss!! Gonna start doing this if I do a similar project 😭
I feel like I don't have enough fingers
I think what this is so amazing and helpful to my dad.
TH-cam I'm an animator not an photo shop editor 💀
I am also an animator.
TH-cam and it's algorithm sometime annoys me.

all these years of slowly and meticulously moving things ever so slightly until it’s perfect when I could have used this the whole time 😭
Then, to go back one press Ctrl, alt, shift, delete, 1, q, I, t, f5, backspace 5 times fast before turning around twice and touching your toes.
Me : I will try this
After opening computer *forgets*
TAKES AGES
How did I not know this. Just brilliant 👏 thank you
How do you know that anchor point is at perfect centre....when i do it, the guide lines doesn't come and everytime i have to guess where is the centre
thing is for more realism flowers pedals are not always the same distance from each other and doing it the way from the start makes some more realism
LOVE IT!!!! thanks for the keyboard shortcut
The way the last petal overlaps the first one bugs me to no end 😂

Rotation is a great example of an isometric transformation in the geometrical plane.
OR: draw the petals color them, and render them at the same time, it'll look more natural and doesn't neccessarily take any more time.
*Mate, you are awesome!!!! Cheers*
IVE ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT THAT CENTER POINT IS FOR AND WHY CAN I MOVE IT AROUND!!! SO THIS IS ONE OF IT. THANKS!! I WILL TRY THIS
i wish i knew this during my digital art class when i did i manually over 80 times
Thank you for the help I really needed it
I remember learning this trick at school but no one used it afterwards xD
This is the most helpful guy I've ever seen and I don't even use Photoshop
Tip for hitting those keys if you have trouble: middle nail on alt, and pointer/index on t.
This advise was also applies to FlippaClip!
WTH!! This could've been helpful before I made a simple design tarp for my niece's birthday.

This is insane thank you
Best mentor ❤
Thank you. Very helpful
Wow, i thought I know everything in Photoshop, now this, thanks teacher.
Its just fun to watch you do this.
Its literally osmm😊
I have a question, how to draw a line with shapes?
For example a straight line with squares or circles.
Does that work in illustrator too?
The way the last one overlaps instead of underlaps 😩
Holy shit this is fucking amazing
amazing tips I've tried it

Next, spawn 13 more fingers to complete these keyboards shortcuts
Idk why but this just got on my mind. MacBook: Photoshop. I pad: procreate. Mobile: Ibispaint.
Heres another Tip: You can Click on an object then press ctrl+alt+del to change its color without picking it its random
I'ts like ARRAY in 3ds max
and DUPLICATE SPECIAL in maya.
Thanks bro, keep it up.
