I know K.G.F has mixed opinions, so I’ll give mine: For the first movie Neel experimented with action sequences presented in a style never seen before in Indian cinema. When this was paired with a great storyline (with a lot of plot points taken from Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi, starring Prabhas), the audience liked it a lot, and the Hindi dubbed version released on TH-cam got 100s of millions of views. For the 2nd movie there was no need to have an amazing storyline, so Neel focused on elevating Yash as a hero with intense dialogues and fights. Indian viewers were already familiar with the K.G.F storyline, so the fact that this is a franchise made it collect much more money than expected. This is similar to Marvel films, which can gross a billion dollars while being average.

Acceptance of a movie to impact on film making and the craft is a pathway to tell story telling with technicality is much more important for the future of movie making.. Oscar is just an appreciation platform but not the ultimatum appreciation, it's just a platform of appreciation which makes an impact for the western media and their film fraternity. Today, its all about appreciation of impact on cultural change, it's an impact on society thought process, its all about acceptance craft of story telling, which makes a change in craft. I know K.G.F has mixed opinions, so I’ll give mine:
For the first movie Neel experimented with action sequences presented in a style never seen before in Indian cinema. When this was paired with a great storyline (with a lot of plot points taken from Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi, starring Prabhas), the audience liked it a lot, and the Hindi dubbed version released on TH-cam got 100s of millions of views.
For the 2nd movie there was no need to have an amazing storyline, so Neel focused on elevating Yash as a hero with intense dialogues and fights. Indian viewers were already familiar with the K.G.F storyline, so the fact that this is a franchise made it collect much more money than expected. This is similar to Marvel films, which can gross a billion dollars while being average.
