Tessie you found some nice treasures at the thrift store. Really love your baskets and apron. The big dipper ladle is just like the one grandma kept in the water bucket she drew fresh water from the well every morning and filled the bucket and set it on the back porch for a quick drink from the dipper for us kids. Such fun! I remember my granny's house smelled like old school lysol,the kind in the brown bottle!
soapygal......My grandmother used to keep on of those brown Lysol bottles on top of her China cabinet, and when her brothers and sisters came over to play cards and smoked! After they left, she would open the cap and pull up the wick in the Lysol bottle and let it take care of the smoke in the room! Don't know if you can still get that kind of Lysol today! God Bless!❤

Love the casual feel of your videos; it's like spending time with a friend. Thanks to you, I have really expanded my herb garden and developed a deeper love for growing all kinds of herbs. I still harvested some calendula yesterday! The Mr. Rogers song brought me back; we need more Mr. Rogers in our world. ❤

Yesterday we went to Goodwill and I bought a gingerbread cookie cutter dressed in a crochet dress with a string to hang. It is really different.
My fav is the ladel , nice touch for a primitive kitchen. Eveything else is nice too...

I love how your face lights up when you talk about going to the thrift store and buying yourself and your three kids little treasures on $5 total. I have a five dollar memory: My wonderful grandfather used to take me to a store called “Pick n Save” when I was a little girl. He told me to put anything I wanted in the basket. When I was done, he would say, “Now pick five things worth five dollars”. I would choose my favorite things out of the basket and put the rest back. It is one of the greatest memories of my entire life. I miss him so much. ❤❤❤❤

Tessie, I just love shopping at thrift stores. I was able to get baskets for Christmas gifts at the fraction of what it would cost me to buy at a big box store. I love Christmas shopping at thrift stores too. The best find was last week. I purchased a Waterford Crystal vase for $1.99.
