Yay! You’re back! As someone who is training to be a therapist and is clocking up hours, I am definitely experiencing compassion fatigue and possibly burnout at the moment. I’m in a bit of a sticky situation because I feel like I need to change my supervisor because my needs have changed, but finding someone who is the right fit for me is proving to be really difficult. I love that you’re a fellow runner, having ran the London marathon a few weeks ago I am full of gratitude for past me for overcoming my addiction to exercise so that I can run intuitively rather than compulsively and do it for me rather than my eating disorder. Recovery is ongoing, but living life rather than surviving it feels incredible.
ahhh yesss i remember the build up of hours was so tricky until i got into a flow of my full caseload 🥲 which has now reduced over time as i’ve taken on other responsibilities so it does get easier!! i hope you find a good supervisor - it makes such a difference when you click! i have the most lovely supervisor and such a good relationship with my supervisees we call ourselves a little family 😅💞 amazing and congratulations for the london marathon that’s incredible!!! truly aspirational 🤩 i hope your recovery journey continues to bring you joy & life 💗💗
So happy your back, throughout the 6 months with no new videos i still love supporting you and helping aid my own recovery which i can proudly say I have now been all-in since march so super happy and feel so much more alive and I can't thank you enough for how much your videos have helped me. I'm excited to see what the future holds on here, gonna be excited for more travel and fun style vlogs
I have never clicked so fast!! Law school revisions will have to wait ^^. so happy to hear from you, I hope you are feeling better and it is always ok to take a break
Gosh it’s SO lovely to see you again!! Thank you for sharing (and huge congratulations on all your achievements ❤). If it’s not too personal - and by all means, keep it private if you’d prefer! - but are you still with your partner? I only ask as you seem to be based in a different location, unless I’m going mad haha x
i followed my own training plan - really i was just gradually building up distance, adding 10% onto my mileage each week. this month i am starting the nike half marathon plan though, as i have a race booked in october :)
Milly!! So happy you’re back. Can’t wait to see the new content
thank you lovely!! it is a little way off but can’t wait to share the travels 😫💞
