  • In this video I continue working on the 9-Patch Placemats by sleying, threading, and winding the warp from the previous video onto the Ashford 8-shaft Table Loom. This is the 2nd of 3 videos demonstrating this double weave color and weave pattern.

This was so informative and helpful to me as I am about to start a double weave project in an independent study class. You are so clear in your descriptions and careful to make sure people can really see what you are doing. Thank you for sharing your practice with us!

Glad it was helpful!! I love double weave ~ it's like magic to me. Hopefully I can get the weaving video posted soon ❤️. In the meantime happy weaving ☺️

Never warped front to back, always back to front. Interesting to see it done. Wishing you strenght and endurance for the next step of your treatment. 🍀

I think every weaver should at least know how to warp both back to front and front to back. You never know when you might need the knowledge even if you prefer one way over the other. Thank you so much for your kind words. I start my chemotherapy treatment on Monday 9/30 so will need all the strength and endurance I can get! Thanks for watching the video ❤️

Great video Grace. I was listening while threading heddles. Now I will replay so I can watch as well. Warping front to back and then lashing on are both new for me. My table loom is also an 8 shaft Ashford so this video is just what I need. Thanks!!! ❤😽

Thank you so much. I'm glad you found it helpful. As I mention, Front to back on the table loom is just easier for me. Not sure why. But lashing on is my go to! Thanks for watching (as re-watching 😊).

Thank you so much. I'm still healing from the surgery 4 weeks ago but it's getting better. I go in to get my port placed tomorrow and then my treatment starts next Monday. Not sure how I'll feel after that but we shall see. Thank you for asking and thanks for watching ❤️
