But as accusations of war crimes committed by Israel continue to mount, is it doing just that? And is the US doing enough to protect civilian lives in Gaza?
In an exclusive interview with UpFront, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore talks with Marc Lamont Hill about the US role in the Israel-Gaza war.

Iraq war was not just a “mistake”

In a nutshell, the truth of the matter is, 75 years ago, Israelis grabbed Palestinian land. They killed or chased them away from their ancestral homes...ever since, the Palestinians have been trying to get their homes and land back from the Squatters/Israelis, but they have been powerless because the thug government of the USA are helping the Israelis by providing 14 billion dollars (US tax payers' money) in arms and ammunition and everything else to the Israelis to rob Palestinian land.

Picture this, a man broke into an elementary school to steal, and then decided to keep the students hostage in the school, the police arrive and decide to bomb the entire school to kill the intruder, when asked about the deaths of the students, they respond “well, he was using them as human shields so they both had to go”. Then the scenario gets repeated at a hospital, a mosque, a church with the same police response… It makes NO sense.

I’ve never seen this interviewer before. He is excellent.
Michael Moore is a nice man, very intelligent, and about as good as it gets on the American Left; but I think his perspective on this issue is inadequate.
People like this tend to romanticize protest movements and ignore their darker undercurrents.
It strikes me that right-wing reactionary xenophobia and adherence to a dead religion which makes sin 'respectable' (that is, islam) lie at the CORE of Palestinian 'resistance' since 100 years ago.

I don’t listen to Michael Moore anymore, because he doesn’t speak the RAW TRUTH, he’s too polished for partisan agendas.
He didn’t even mention here what happened BEFORE OCT. 7th of the 75 years of Palestinian struggle. And he seems to start history of Israel/Palestinian conflict ON Oct. 7th.
He only condemns Netanyahu, as if once Netanyahu is ousted, everything would be just fine, as if Israel 75 years of BRUTAL Apartheid would just end.
But without any doubt, Netanyahu has to GO, and be held accountable by ICC for his war crimes.

This is the BEST interview I've seen in YEARS - thank you Marc Lamont Hill & Michael Moore. These 2 should have WEEKLY segments to unpack these important issues. & thank you AlJa - I'm an American & I'm spreading the word since we all NEED to view this channel to have ANY balance in our general education on this entire region. Especially the side that my tax $$ props up (unfortunately!). We've only been fed 1 side for decades, but the tide is finally turning, Israeli 'bankers' are waking up & we don't want this brutality associated with our name or money.

A leader of Hamas, in a statement to some News corporations concerning the cost and digging of tunnels, is for the protection of the fighting forces of Hamas. He continued by stating that 75% of the population of Gazza are migrants, and it is up to the UN to care for them. No need to say that Hamas are the Arab state. If so, what are they protesting here, and by whose authority? If they do not give a toss about the population of Gazza other than a shield of protection, why should we?
