- First of all i need to say that my Spongebob and Patrick desings and colors are inspired and based by the amazing art of: / calmao666 (Mao if you are Reading this thank you for been such and inspiration for me, please never change and keep your amazing work).
EYYYYY, did you like it? I spend so much time doing this but at least i´m satificed with the result.
This is the first Animatic i post in this 2020 but why ¨Best day ever¨? Well, must of you know that this year is not staring too well for all the things that are happening around the world but what if we try to be more like SpongeBob? Let´s just look at this, they are all about to...maybe die but he is like ¨Well but the sun is still shining, we are still here, let´s not waste our time suffering and wondering what is going to happen next, let´s just enjoy the time we are having right now¨ And it´s true, i know we feel down alot of times, we feel that the world is just bad and terrible with us but what if we just look up at the sun and think that we are still alive and that is something amazing that we can be proud of, so if you feel down or sad, look up and you´ll see the light you need to be Happy and to make this The Best Day Ever :D.

Everyone celebrates excessively.
Seeing that Spongebob isn't afraid to die because he knew it would happen someday tells us a lot about him.
Specifically, he's not afraid because he's got all of his friends around, at least. It's not that he's accepting the inevitable, but that he's looking at the little light in the darkness, which REALLY tells us a lot about him.
This musical really deserves so much more than “that’s a bit childish” it literally takes on real world problems. Mobs, racism, coronavirus, toxic relationships, daddy issues, etc.
Makes you wonder how the creators could’ve predicted something like Covid, since it was written in 2015

"Best Day Ever" has existed way before the musical (maybe not this version, but indeed the melody and tone of the song), and I've always feel so vulnerable when listening to it. Now, when 2020 couldn't be worse, this popped up in my recommended and made me tear up in nostalgia, melancholy, and a desire to go back to the past where I was just a kid watching Spongebob in Nickelodeon.

"Best Day Ever" is my favorite SpongeBob SquarePants song as it was the one song from the first movie that still makes me feel good. When I first heard this version of the song, way before watching the stage show, it made me cry. So many happy memories!

I’ve seen snippets of the finale, and I’ve come to believe that I would be fine with the musical being the ending to the series. It has heart, creativity and stays true to the core values of what the series was built off of. We may be getting the third movie, but I’m fine with the first film being the animated finale and the musical being a possible prequel.
It would be cool if this was turned into a movie and it was, like, the conclusion for SpongeBob. A huge threat that seems unstoppable and you have hope that everything will be fine because it's SpongeBob but you never know

SpongeBob was the main cartoon that influenced how I acted around people. And seeing this beautiful animation makes me so happy. And that someone can make the best out of a scary situation, it just makes me wanna cry, especially since its so harmonious.

This is so ridiculously cute. The little pupil shakes, like. It's such a small detail but added so much to still moments. Gosh, I started tearing up with the 'all of you' line??? And I love the bit with Larry and Spongebob releasing the jellyfish. It's a sweeter take on the show itself and fits the idea so much better? And everything about how you draw everyone is adorable. Gosh dang. Adorable.

This literally made me cry. SpongeBob was a show I grew up with and watching these characters just, singing a nostalgic songs and accepting their deaths was enough to make me emotional.

This is simultaneously exactly what I needed and exactly what I didn't need. This was honestly something I really needed to hear, and paired with the visuals and a childhood friend of mine (let's be real, the entirety of the SpongeBob cast is basically our friends) really hit me in the feels. But damn girl I didn't need these tears right now I've got to go to school!

As someone who didn't finish the musical because their attention span is no, I actually went :D when Squidward started singing.
