I wasn’t aware that she passed away so young. We always loved her as Mortica on the Addams Family !! It is so weird to see how happy and animated she is in the show. 🦇🥀

TY for sharing this, never seen, or heard of this quiz. Carolyn Jones was a delight. Praise too, for Barry Sullivan, a solid & most dependable second lead & character actor. Performed alongside many of the top female stars in Hollywood history-Doris Day, Barbara Stanwyck, Bette Davis & Joan Crawford. :-)
Well said and well put. Though he never became a huge star, Mr Sullivan (as you pointed out) was ALWAYS solid & dependable. And Ms Jones was always wonderful (so pretty & talented).

I caught Betty White in the front row of the audience at the shows opener. Guess her relationship with Ludden was just beginning. So cute.

Yep. Usually at least 5 as I understand. Same as the "Jeopardy!" programs. The winner and the host go backstage and put on a different shirt/blouse, dress, tie, coat, then gets back on stage for the next "Day" program. The audience takes a rest room break, and then the new "Day" starts again.

To me the highlight of this episode was watching Allen having trouble pronouncing infinitesimal. He's on Password for crying out loud.......
And, he claimed to have a B.A. in English. He had no clue what a snare or loop were, the contestant and the Celeb had to explain it to him. HOW did he ever get a job on a program about words?

Ugh! What is that thing the female Celeb is wearing? Looks like she just finished an episode of "Star Trek" and stole the bottom part of a space suit, she is missing the bubble helmet.
The male contestant REALLY needed to buy and leaf through a Thesaurus before getting on national TV program about words and showing what a doofus, he was. Staring at the Celeb, and waving your hands around is NOT giving an answer.
Barry Sullivan was better than most Celebs at "The Lightning Round".
For "fussy" I would've said "shovel." My partner wouldn't have got it but I would've said it.
