So Ray played scare crow on Wizard of Oz. He was adorable.

Amanda was so pretty without all the makeup they painted on her for her role as Miss Kitty.

That hairdo makes her look like she's got horns 😀

Ray’s clue “Spirit-like” for the Password Phantom should have been disallowed as it’s hyphenated.

Amanda Blake and Ray Bolger were fairly good players. I will probably watch some other P-W episode with them. The Closed Captioning device is broken. Amanda and Ray needed to enunciate the words better and bit louder.
Amanda Blake ("Miss Kitty" to us "Gunsmoke" watchers) gave a weird/odd clue for "Ball in the Lightning Round. I could not understand why she did that, until later A.L. told her the word was BALL as in round thing that you play with at recess ,,,, She thought the word was "BAIL" as in get out of Jail "Bail" money.
The word "Plastic" was not easy. Normally I talk back to screen and shout word clues (they never hear me though ;-) ) , but plastic was not easy. I said: "Toys" because in 1966 many toymakers had left metal and wood and switched to plastics for their toys. About the same general time period as this episode was made, we lived about a mile & a half from the Mattel toy factory in southern California.

on the word 'Smell' Alan gives the biggest clue of all by walking in front of the clue givers.

Alan Ludden seems to put extra pressure on the players

How? He’s a good moderator in my opinion.

@@elspethcoogan1499 I can’t quite remember how I came to that conclusion, as it was over a year ago when I posted this. It was probably something on this specific episode that made me say it. I will look at it more in depth

Not only is Kitty a cheater, she's a sneaky cheater. 10:23

"5 seconds", "5 seconds"; "5 seconds";"5 seconds"; Why don't you just go 4,3,2,1 for crying out loud? Also he's inconsistent, some players Alan say's "5 seconds" right from the offset, others have 8 days.

I hate the screaming audience in this one. Wow, if anyone was listening to that with headphones in the studio they must have gone deaf.

Most shows today all you hear are screaming audiences
