R.I.P. Betty White ~ What a shock that she passed away today (12/31/2021) at the age of 99. Only weeks from celebrating her 100th birthday! She was our National Treasure. She blessed us all with her quick humor and her rememberable characters. May she make all the angels and God laugh thunderously and smile brightly in Heaven.

If you count all the leap years she live through, she made it to her birthday. Giving that, she was a true Icon, an animal lover and advocate. One of the funniest women every. She will be so missed.

Betty White was truly and unquestionably the real first Lady of television. She was the first woman to produce a national TV show, the first woman to star in a sitcom, the first woman to receive an Emmy nomination - and the first woman to ever appear on television, given her performance on an experimental broadcast in 1939.
No one could ever touch her accomplishments. A pioneer of the medium. And a pioneer for women. An animal rights activists. She paid for a private plane to relocate otters and penguins from Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans in the aftermath of 2005′s Hurricane Katrina. Unselfish, caring, empathetic, strong willed who championed causes near and dear to her heart. Her kind is not likely to ever be seen again, especially in this evil, vacuous, self entitled, selfish, egomaniacal world of today where it's all about "ME" while taking and posting hundreds of selfies of yourself and where you're at. I love you Betty ❤️

Thank you for the upload. BW is the Queen of TV. She had been there for such a long time, she was always my favorite from so many game shows. She had such a sense of humor, sometimes a bit risque ... which was wonderful. Her humor was ahead of the curve. She and Allen Ludden were the couple of TV, such a great relationship, what talent. RIP Betty and Allen. She brought love, knowledge, excitement, tasteful sexual innuendo, humor, and professionalism to TV.
this just reminds me of how much I used to love watching the gameshow network growing up as a kid in the 90's, watching all these reruns.
Match Game was always my favorite celebrity game
That woman who got Neptune and Quiz.. the fact that she was thinking about those answers in the back of her mind while answering the next questions is crazy focus in that situation with a studio audience and lights and cameras.
She was the GOAT of celebrity game shows!! The producers probably had her number on speed dial.
Betty reminds me so much of my grandma! A few years ago there was a Betty White marathon for Christmas on BUZZR which was totally fitting considering my grandma pass away Christmas Eve so in a way I was able to spend it with my grandma!🥰😍

It's interesting that we lost not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 "Mary Tyler Moore" stars in 2021! Betty White was the last one. Her passing fully closes the era of "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Golden Girls" as everyone from those shows are now unfortunately gone.
Not only that, she outlived, OUTLIVED, all of her Golden Girls co-stars.. as each of THEM passed within a year of each other.

I've searched on ebay a few times to see if anyone is selling a vintage Match Game card (maybe a contestant who got one signed as a memento), but I haven't found one yet. Not that I want to buy one -- I'm just interested in knowing whether any still exist, and what they're worth.

But when a contestant would win $5,000 (or $2,500 or $10,000 or whatever) in the Super Match, very often the celebrity (e.g., Richard Dawson) would autograph the card and give it to the contestant as a souvenir. I suspect that at least a few of those cards still exist. (For example, when Richard Dawson briefly came back to Family Feud in 1994, a FF contestant showed Richard a Match Game card that he had signed for her when she won big on Match Game in 1977.)

Can anyone explain what they meant on Tattle Tales ~1:06:30 of this video, the question is ‘Exactly where on your body is your vaccination’ (husbands have to say where on their wives body). No one on the show is confused about the question - was it normal for a vaccination to leave a permanent mark?? Did they need a flu vaccine to be on the show? The confusion is killing me!
The question is probably referring to the smallpox vaccine, which left a permanent scar. Smallpox has been eradicated, and so the vaccine is no longer given. But at the time of that Tattletales episode, everyone on the panel would likely have received this vaccine earlier in their lives, and would still have the scar.

Please look her up she was on a TV show called "golden girls" (it's on hulu and Amazon prime if I want to check it out) also she was on a show called "hot in cleveland" (u can watch a lot of it on TH-cam and Amazon prime and TV lands app) she was in a lot more stuff but those are the easiest to find useing streaming services
