I don’t have a flat finished car… so didn’t think I would learn anything. I was wrong Your videos always have information that I learn from. Using your rinseless and iron remover/clay this weekend. So awesome to know that I won’t be using an entire bottle of iron remover! Thanks guys
any idea when the clay towel will be available again? slso just hot my order & want to make a quick detail in a 32oz bottle. my math is TERRIBLE, but I came up with.75oz does that sound right for the correct ratio? Can’t wait to try out my DA with the gold standard & pads. shoukd I use the waffle pad 1st or the microfiber? ❤ the TUTORIALS!!
Thanks, we should have them back by the end of the month. To use DIY Detail Rinseless Wash as a clay lube use a standard dilution of 256/1, for 32oz means 4ml.
Great video & tips guys! I like how Nick teleported into the video scene @ 5:40 😄 Yvan, the mix you mention with a gal. of water, 8oz. All-Clean & 1 oz. Incredible Suds...is that for use in a pump sprayer or would you then pour that mix in a foam cannon?
Can you use high ph pre washes when washing/decontaminating matte paint (as long as you don't let it dry)? Also, are matte wraps treated the same as matte paint for decontaminating, washing, coating etc? Thank you!
Thank you for this video from Australia I have a problem - someone sprayed some oil-based liquid on two areas of my matte finish - marring is evident and I'm really frustrated because this happened in transit from the dealer to my city. What do you recommend if anything at all to help remove remnants of the oily substance and the resultant marring please? Also, will you ship your products to Australia please? God bless from Australia
The best alternative would be our tree sap remover to eliminate the oil residue. The marring unfortunately is permanent. We do have distributors in Australia Https://diydetail.com/pages/distributors
I just got a used motorcycle that has a suede (matte?) finish paint job on it and I'm wanting to clean it up so I came across this video. I was wondering instead of a rinseless wash could I also just use a ph neutral soap like incredible suds with no additives and foam it with a foam cannon then rinse as well? also for dirt and grime/bug guts on the front forks use something like all clean as well without having to be worried about it getting on the matte paint? I've never delt with matte paint like this so im wanting to be extra careful to not harm the bike when i clean it! thanks guys!
If you use iron remover with the rinseless wash wouldn't it dilute the iron remover and make it less effective?... You are already using very little iron remover and diluting it as well
Auto fiber makes a plush microfiber wheel brush I think you’ll really like. Main benefit is no fling back like from the one you are currently using. No I’m not affiliated with, lol.

The most logical master detailer in modern age!
Thank you, but not a master , very much a student.

That’s for pump sprayers and foamers
@diydetailofficial 👍and keep that mix off the convertible top? Just plain rinseless only for that, correct?
@@joelpasserell4525 yes just rinseless for the top

Yes, absolutely
What do you suggest using for winter protection on matte paint I’ll be getting a ceramic coating after winter. Is quick beads safe?
Hey guys, is your gold standard polish the only spray polish on the market? I wish I could purchase but I live in Australia. Love your videos.
You should be able to get it through Car Care Co. Enjoy!!
8:44 can I use any kind of good quality iron removers on a good clay towel or it's just work on your own towel and iron removal
We know it works with our products, but with others you will need to test.
Hey guys, I’ve got a question! What’s the benefit/difference of using a panel prep spray, Vs. 50/50 Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water?
It removes more from the surface, and makes the surface slicker than with IPA.
Thank you for this video from Australia

Yes, everything is safe on suede or matte paint except for polish.
Where do you purchase those clear buckets from? Thanks.
We actually get them at a restaurant supply store
We don’t need to talk, but we never shut up.🤣🤣🤣 Great line!
Thank you
If my sponge comes out as like minute 7:11 what should i do?
Please explain
If you use iron remover with the rinseless wash wouldn't it dilute the iron remover and make it less effective?... You are already using very little iron remover and diluting it as well
There’s very little DIY Detail Rinseless Wash on the surface, not enough to hinder the performance of the iron remover.
@@diydetailofficial but you need the rinseless wash as a lubricant right? Unless your primary lubricant is the iron remover?
no need to overthink it.
If you have more iron/rust on your paint, then use more iron remover
Why aren't you using the two bucket method when cleaning the surface with the mitt
Watching this is the best explanation

Yes
I would love to see this done outside
Best to work out of direct sunlight and in small sections:)
Great video guys 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
What pressure washer hose is that?
Kranzle
It's Flexy
Yes, it’s a 1/4 hose.
I'm sceptical that not applying any pressure on the clay towel would do much
In terms of decon? Just play around with it and see what works for you
Try it, and you will be happily surprised
