Thank you for overlaying the keyboard options to the actions you take. Too often, I’m watching videos, and can’t replicate an action because my PS setup doesn’t exactly match the instructor’s, and I’m such an infrequent user of PS, that I get completely stuck and frustrated.
You are so giving and helpful. I'm so glad I joined your vip group, because you share even more there. I will say I hesitated joining because I'm not shooting to make money at this point in my life, but I learn so much there that it's totally worth it to me. Also, I'm in the US and I adore your accent, and some phrases you use. My favorite one right now is 'let's get stuck in'. lol, I'm going to start saying that, myself.
I struggle with cloning repetition at times and how to fix it! I know it's not correct, but it sometimes takes me a while to get it right lol. I think this will help me cut down on that a lot! Appreciate the tips!
Agreed of course. Tho if its going on any internet (photography sites, Facebook, Instagram), I find it hard not of over do it, as a lot of people are on phones or small screens, they don't tend to look too closely. I reckon a sharpen feature that adjusts its self depending on the finished size. So if someone zooms in, the sharpening eases. Would be great, but don't think jpg will do it lol
I am not a photographer just an observer. I find the most distracting area of this photo to be the blurred background. It looks it looks wavey, unnatural and poorly photo shopped.
This is an unedited raw file except for the leaf on the floor so the very thin focus strip in the image throws the background to blur in camera, depending on the distances. Most portrait photography features this technique to focus all attention on the subject of the portrait but there are some people who find the blur uncomfortable. Different strokes for different folks 🙌
@@ThatPhotographySpot Yes, recently I took some pics of puppies, the handler was a real pain in the neck, and the final pics had him behind the dogs. I naively said to myself "well, I'll take Care of that in post", baaaad Idea, the frame was too narrow to pick an area and remove the guy, the depth of field was too shallow to select and mask the dogs, etc. Long story short... Don't be like me.😂😂😂😂 P.S. Please forgive my English. My mother tongue is Spanish.

No worries and I am glad that you found the overlay useful 🤓
It's all in the details! Thanks again for another great tip.
It is indeed and no worries 🙂

Ah the time I've spent editing grains of sand or dead leaves for these reasons 😂

A simple solution could be: Clean the area before posing the dog hehehe. I've found myself spending hours trying to remove objects on Ps.
So true but sometimes it’s leashes or people or immovable objects (like a poop bin) 🤣
