😢I love Ibadan like kilode❤ In fact I have many friends here in the UK who have vowed to relocate to Ibadan in few years from now. It also makes it better since one can now travel 1st class to and from Lagos and Abeokuta by trains, hence avoiding all the hassles and hazards of road travels.
The reason I will relocate to Ibadan is food. Food is very cheap in Ibadan. For a diasporan who cherishes calmness,Ibadan is best option. Unfortunately Ogun state is not catching up. Perhaps with the completion of Sango- ota -Abeokuta, things might change.
I pity you. Am telling you categorically that food is far more expensive in ibadan. July 2023 I moved from lagos to ibadan I am talking from experience.
I've been making plans to relocate to Ibadàn from Lagos since last year but nobody wants me to leave and I've been postponing it too. But then I can't get the idea off my head just that my work requires me to be in Lagos. But then all this Ibadan idea came after I spent a might in Ibadan sometimes in 2019... The peace, the cheap food, like a friend told me he bought lots of stuff (food with 1k in 2019 and that was a period I was using 2k to make fish sauce 😂 likeee God abeg
@emmanuelogundipe3328 no. We resides at ajinde( ire-akari estate)but we bought our food stuffs at oja oba, agbeni, orita -merin and bodija market depending on what we're looking for but food stuff are only slightly cheaper at bodija market .
The same thing over here. Mega Investors ss we speak are moving from Lagos to Anambra State, Aba Enyimba City 24/7 non stop power supply. Investors are moving to Portharcourt city. Nigeria is moving...
I dont know why anybody from the diaspora would return to lagos.😅It feels like half of Nigeria lives in lagos these days.Any city in Nigeria is much better for peace and quieter life if the governors can develop the infrastructures and security...
I have heard good things about Ibadan and Ogun state. How about agro business, which of the two places would you recommend? I know the Yorubas are very welcoming and trustworthy, how about the security?
Oyo and Ogun are growing areas because of their proximity to Lagos. I'd say Ibadan is more of the residential and agricultural focus with the opportunities, Ogun is more commercial
Cost of land, documentation, safety/risk of the property is also quite different and factors into total cost. It is a growing/emerging market nonetheless, it is not at the level Lagos is, understandably.
Our capital city must develop
I Dey tell u

This is what I’m talking about! Ibadan is the future! Thanks for sharing
Oga Umahi is doing well. Disappointed with the Ebonyi airport being turned to church, but they will get it right at some point.

@@samuelotebolaku7004I guess it depends on where you are living. Just like Lagos Ibadan also has it expensive neighborhood.

Cost of building materials in ibadan and lagos almost the same. Rentals in lagos is higher than ibadan.
Cost of land, documentation, safety/risk of the property is also quite different and factors into total cost. It is a growing/emerging market nonetheless, it is not at the level Lagos is, understandably.
there are land of 100 million in ibadan
Please don't you research well, Ibadan can't never be compared to Kano in terms of population and size.
Kano vs Oyo state as a whole; that is what I meant
A godfather owns Lagos +agbero, they do and undo 😂
Godfather Owen's ibadan til he died. What's your point. Same for every state
